Love these little screwdrivers
Another rare 5 star review. Top notch stubby screwdriver. It is designed so that you press a little collar at the bottom of the handle, and you can extend the shank to one of several settings, or remove it completely. When removed completely, the 1/4 hex shank can be used in a drill, or even an impact driver, as the shank and bits are all impact rated. The bits store securely under the top cap of the handle. There are little 'notches' you grab to access the bits. The bit holder is captive in that it will not pop out of the handle and scatter the bits all around. The bits are a bit of a challenge to get out the first few times until the bit holder loosens up, but I'd much rather have it on the tight side than the loose side where the bits could fall out. The handle itself is comfortable and grippy. Honestly, I couldn't tell you how to improve it. It is about the best balance I can find for being both compact and able to get into tight places, yet being substantial enough to really be put to use. That the shank is extendable/removable and everything is impact rated is just icing on the cake. The bits are very well made and fit precisely.

Great little screwdriver that I didn't know I needed
The Klein Stubby 8-in-1 is the screwdriver you didn't know you needed. The handle of the screwdriver has about 1.5" of grippable area, with another 3/4" of plastic at the bottom that quickly tapers down to the shank area. The top of the handle slides up to reveal a carousel with 6 slots for hexagonal bits. Bits are held in the shank with a magnetized holder. The kid includes 3 phillips, 2 slotted, and 2 robertson bits. The shank of the screwdriver is hexagonal and has 3 graduated markings approximately 1/2" apart. The shank is held into the handle of the screwdriver using an internal clamping system. Releasing the clamp allows the shank to be adjusted to different positions (clamping on to the markings) or removed completely. The screwdriver is 4" from the top of the handle to the end of the bit when the shank is fully recessed and 5" when extended to the last locking position. I own several other Klein tools and this is made with the same quality. Because of the size of the handle, it's not something that I'd use for every-day work or for anything where having a solid grip matters. But it's great for tossing in a drawer or keeping somewhere handy for those times when need a screwdriver. Bought one on a whim and will be picking up a few more to stash.

Great for a junk drawer tool but one tiny flaw
Overall, this is a good tool, love the adjustable stem and the bit mount at the end holds the bit well. Has a few different sized drivers good for small tasks like taking battery doors off, or tightening an outlet cover or little around-the-house repairs, not for serious work. The only issue I have with it is the clips in the handle that hold the extra bits might as well be tack welded. If you need a tool to use your tool, your tool isn't much of a tool. I've taken to removing the stem, using the current bit to pry the next bit out of the clips to change out the driver end. It's a pain in the neck. Other than that, this is a handy-dandy tool to have around.

Nice
A handy little tool I have to break out when my 11 in 1 is too big. Gets the job done. The bad- The grip has come lose like all Klein drivers and had to glue it back. The bits are smaller than normal bits and are a pain in the rear changing them out. I always have to grab my little pliers to get the bits out and change them which takes longer than it should.

Another great tool from Klein!!
A great tool to add to your kit! If you bought this when it was still attached to the display card you'll know it's features..........But if not here they are: A) A 3-position shaft for positioning @ 7/16" intervals from "stubby" to medium length B) A rare earth magnet inside the hex-bit holder for securing the bits in place (comes with 1 bit inserted) C) A hex-bit storage compartment inside the handle for 6 bits (for a total of 7 bits) I don't know if it was intended or not but I find that leaving the storage cap extended open it serves as a longer handle. The bits are secured and don't fall out. On the negative side - I find the handle diameter a little oversized (due to the storage compartment), and a wee bit short in length. See comments above. On the plus side - This is an excellent tool - well designed, machined, and assembled, and well up to the Klein standards I have come to expect!!!! Best Regards James Clarke, Hilton, NY

Handy tool for quick fixes at home or work
I recently purchased the Klein Tools 32308 Multi-bit Stubby Screwdriver for small repairs around the house. The adjustable magnetic tip and various bit options make it practical for a range of tasks. I found it particularly useful when tightening screws on cabinet doors. However, I wish the handle had a more ergonomic design for better grip during longer projects. While using it, I caught myself humming a tune, lost in my DIY world.

Sem dúvida um ótimo produto, característica da marca Klein, porém os bits apresentam muita folga quando estão alongados. Experimentei um jogo de bits escalonados genéricos e ficou ótimo. Um ponto a ser revisto pelo fabricante.

I am not a professional but more like a weekend gamer. But this stubby driver just became my go-to tool, now sits permanently on my desk. At first, I didn't really think this stubby would be useful on anything. Had to include it to make Amazon delivery free. But it turned out that I use it way more frequently than I thought. Tightening my desk chair screws, a hand grip for my kettle lid, quickly opening my PC case for cleaning, adjusting dog collar screw on the go, etc. Just too many uses where I skipped due to my laziness. I have an electric screwdriver and an impact driver already and carrying all those bits for them is sometimes hassle. And they are usually quite bulky (bit container+power tool itself) for many 'miscellaneous' cases. Say, I need to clean up my robot cleaner... before this, I had to bring a bit container just for that Philips #1 tiny bit and the bit holder or I'm going to lose the bit somewhere for sure. With this one? Just bring in the stubby and grab a power tool. Done! I don't even have to worry about bit socket either. So much better! One gripe is that the bits are not so 'common' size. If I accidently drop them into my impact's 1/4" collar, bits are just too short!! I think the stubby handle has enough space for more 'common' size stubby bits. But it is what it is... Other than that, this is a great bit holder.. I mean stubby driver!
