Good purchase for helping us getting organized
Light weight, great quality, easy to install, firm structure that will not bend. Very easy to use! I would recommend getting yourself a stud finder for those who do not have one. Perfect for making inexpensive wall shelves, and for busy people like us living on a budget, that can make all the difference consolidating a messy space. I plan to put knick knacks on a long shelf about a foot below the ceiling. We used a couple for a shelf to put up a computer, and a gaming console. Could also be good for plants (in front of windows would be great). Would buy again!

Well built. Nice for hanging extension cords, etc
Well built. Included screws are good quality. I’m not using it for a floating shelf. It does work well for hanging cords, etc.

Works Well! We Turned Our Brackets 90 Degrees
On our second set since we found that they work well. The supplied screws are small in my opinion for use on a stud wall. We used #12 screws as described below. Also found as other reviewers that the base plate and rod are not always 90 degrees to each other. However, even if they were perfect, our drywall/stud walls are not perfect so the rods can point at slightly different angles. You may have to shim the brackets as needed to fit how your holes are drilled. With the way we installed our brackets described below, wish they had a second pair of holes drilled on center with the rod - however it was not a show stopper and we didn’t need to mod it. We used DIY hollow shelves. They are 2 1/4” and 3” thick. With thicker shelves that hide the bracket, what worked for us was to turn the bracket 90 degrees and mount them with the screws (not the bracket) centered to the stud. Used #12 screws to limit flex and they were 1 1/2” and longer as needed, for example, when screwing into a corner at a slight angle. Turning the brackets 90 makes them pretty stiff for vertical weight bearing. When you have a stud wall, you can also ensure each bracket is mounted with 2 screws. Our hollow shelves have a skeleton frame inside, and then they’re wrapped with wood afterwards. This allows the holes needed at the wall and near the tip of the rod to be custom drilled to accommodate the various angles the rods take. Sometimes the holes are drilled 9/16” and a block drilled 1/2” is attached to the frame to get a precise fit. A lot of work but results in a sturdy, aligned shelf. 4 stars since many are not precisely 90 degrees between the bracket and rod. Also screws are small. Good value esp compared to the brackets that have multiple rods connected together.

Strong and easy to use
These worked really well for my floating shelves my husband built. My shelves are very heavy and I have a lot of weight on them and they are holding up great. They were easy to use and easy to put up.

Solid bracket
I installed these every couple feet along a drink ledge on a 12 foot long piece of walnut. It turned out really nice and I am happy to not see any brackets under the shelf supporting it. I’ve done a few installations like this now and this one went smoother than any other, despite being the most challenging installation to read on if you want some advice… A quick note of the one bit of weirdness going on here… The holes to mount the bracket to the wall are not aligned with the rod that goes in the shelf so just keep that in mind when you’re choosing your mounting locations. It’s not any issue if you plan for it, but if you drilled your holes in your shelf before you recognize that, you might end up frustrated A half inch diameter bit with a simple drill block to ensure perpendicularity worked fine for making the holes in the shelf. I used painters, tape going up on the front of the bracket and down on the back of the bracket. The back being the part towards the wall. A few inches of painters, tape sticking up is enough to ultimately support the bracket after you position, the shelf, but we’ll get to that in a minute. The second piece of painters, tape stuck on the back of the bracket going down is so that you can insert the bracket into the shelf, rotate it to be in the right position, and then tape the lower piece of tape onto the bottom of the shelf to hold it from rotating. After you’ve done that, with all the brackets, get someone to help you position the shelf against the wall, ensuring that it’s level and use the upper tape to stick to the wall to locate the right position, then remove the tape from the bottom of the shelf. After you do that, with all of the brackets, you can gently slide the shelf away from the wall and the brackets will be stuck to the wall in the right locations. Then it’s just a matter of mounting the brackets to the wall and sliding the shelf back over. In my case, my shelf was 12 feet long, making it pretty cumbersome to handle. So I took a board on either end that was cut to length so that the shelf would be at the right height and use that to temporarily support it which helped a lot. I’m not saying it isn’t still tricky but the other times I’ve done this with shorter and lighter shelves, the alignment hasn’t been as good and it made it very hard to push onto the wall so I think this is a pretty good approach. Maybe if I do this again, I’ll make a little video because that’s always clearer than a write up.

Very strong brackets
These hangers are great for floating shelves. I made the shelves myself and these are great. Very strong. Easy to install. Comes with all the hardware you need.

Easy to install. I used three per shelf, but these are hollow and not solid as they advertise.
I hung these in no time. Will put drywall over them which should make great floating shelves. Unfortunately, they advertise that they are sold steel and that is definitely not true. The supports I was sent are hollow. I'm hoping they support the weight that they claim, but that may not be true either.

Not the best design but i made them work
I bought these brackets to mount a couple of shelves 1200mm x 240mm x 46mm that i made out of pine to replace the white store bought hollow ones which were going yellow. As others have stated the screw holes are spaced too far apart to get 2 screws in the stud. To get around this problem i had to rotate the bracket 90 degrees so the plate was vertical which meant the plate was wider than the shelf. So i had to cut 2mm off the ends of the plate which made them the same size as the shelf so they can still be seen with a closer look but it is acceptable to me. I used a 12.5mm drill bit for the holes for which both have to be straight which can be a challenge and you will need a longer than standard drill bit.I got around the problem by drilling the holes before i put the shelf together. As others have stated not all the brackets a straight, i found at least one that was a couple of degrees off but luckily i didn't need all eight. I also didn't think the screws were long enough so i replaced them with 75mm screws that i already had, probably over kill but better than what was supplied.

Brackets
Good value and they look like they will work well

Poor quality
Metal bends very easily. Also would not recommend using screws provided as they broke within the wall when drilled into studs. Overall would suggest purchasing another product.

Good not great
it’s better to get a bracket with four screw holes instead of two . Although it’s clear on the pix so there’s no misinformation from the seller . If installed well , it works just fine .
