Excellent wire strippers for those with patience to learn to use them.
Excellent wire strippers! I prefer these over pre-sized strippers and have had no trouble using them on everything down to 30 AWG. They work great on both solid and stranded wire, even fine strands, but they do require practice to become proficient at using them. I've used a few different brands over the years and the Kleins have always been reliable, and last quite a while as long as you don't abuse them. They are not for cutting.

Works well. You may want model with a spring.
This is like the most basic of wire strippers but does the job. FWIW, electrical wire itself is not as hard as wire for a spring or piano or such. Those hard wires may damage this tool (I have not tried). This tool is great for simple electrical wire. I have good results with both solid core and stranded. Good Things -Small, light, thin. -Can be locked (via screw) to work with a specific gauge of wire -Rivet on pivot will not get lost -Really cheap, if you lose it you're not out $$$ -Finish appears to resist corrosion -Has cutting & stripping areas on tool (most people prefer separate tools, but this works for both) Bad Things -Rivet on pivot (cannot be tightened, replaced etc) -No label for gauge sizes, may not be a big thing for you -Small, if you have big hands this tool may be too small -No spring on the model I chose. Most tools like this 'spring' open, check your model # -No fixed strip length, probably not expected on this cheap of a tool, but better ones to have it

Good set of wire cutters
Klein makes a good quality set of wire cutters / strippers. I have used these before and ordered a pair for myself.

Works well once you figure out how to use it
Works well once you figure it out with no instructions which is why I didn't give it five stars

Best strippers out there
I’ll preface this by saying I am an actual licensed master electrician. I’ve been using these strippers for over 20 years. Have worn out many pairs and replaced them with the same. For me, the compact size and the ability to strip almost any size wire is excellent. Granted, they take some getting used to in order to gauge the wire appropriately without damaging the actual conductor... but that comes with experience. They’re not made to do a lot of cutting...that’s what dikes and linesman’s pliers are for... but little trimming of 10awg or less is fine if you use common sense.

Terrible quality
I have been using this style of stripper for almost 40 years. I prefer them to most any other type out there. Typically they are easy for me to use, and do a good job. I bought this set to replace a different brand that was finally wearing out after 6 or 7 years of moderate use. I picked Klein because they are made in the USA. I should have looked for something made in Mexico or Europe. These are terrible. To start with, they sent the wrong version. I wanted spring return, they shipped no-spring. Then, the wire cutter function doesn't work. There is a gap between the jaws that leaves wire strands. Yes, I could get some small side cutters for cutting wire, but that defeats one of the purposes of this tool. In my job, time is money, and having to set down a tool to pick up another tool is time. Especially when the first tool should have done both jobs. I am highly disappointment with these, and doubt I will buy from Klein again.
