TEK Writer 72 Mechanical Pencils Bulk Set- Plus 220 Lead and 18 Smudge-Free Eraser Refills

These pencils are good - not super durable, but the metal tips are much better than any with plastic tips. They are low cost but if you go through a lot of mech pencils every year, yet you want something that is not junky cheap, then buy these. Good all around, but not a big deal if you lose one on occasion.

I am an unorganized college student. I lose my mechanical pencils left and right. So, every year I buy a large package of mechanical pencils to carry me through my classes. This was the first time I had purchased this brand. First off, if you are looking for a huge box of amazing mechanical pencils, you need to lower your expectations. They are cheap pencils. That said, this was the best bang for my buck I have ever achieved in purchasing pencils. Things I liked: Style/ structure: The pencils, as noted in the picture, come with a large variety of colors. Each pencil is narrowly gripped, about the same size as a typical BIC pencil. The plastic feels cheap, but each pencil held up to significant force when trying to bend them with my hands. These pencils are as durable as any other mechanical pencil. Led: Thick and durable and dispenses the second "stick" more smoothly than most other pencils. Affordable: You are paying about 25 cents per pencil. If you are more organized than me, that can go a very long way. Accessories: Pack comes with extra led and extra erasers. Never gotten a bulk package which did that before. The only thing that I did not like about this pencil was the eraser. It's one of those gritty erasers that wears down easily and doesn't erase very well. However, considering how cheap the eraser is, I am willing to look beyond this minor flaw.

These are good pencils, and I like that there were 72 in a pack. In the beginning of every school year, we start out with plenty of supplies, but it seems that by December you can't find a pencil anywhere to do homework. Problem solved. Minor complaints: the erasers fall out pretty easily, and with kids who erase aggressively, it happens often and can get a little annoying. Other minor complaint is that they don't seem to be filled with a lot of lead, but they are refillable and there are lots of pencils so when the kids use one up, they just move on to the next. I would purchase these again.

These have a good weight to them, not too heavy but not too light either. They have the cushion area for finger pressure, but it doesn’t really help, so I added pencil cushions to them. The added cushions also make them just a bit thicker when he helps to relieve strain on the wrist. The erasers are tiny. I like the idea of the cap to keep the erasers clean and keep from losing them, but really slows you down to remove while working. I usually take it off when I start writing and put it back on when I am done or use a separate eraser. I know I will eventually losing them. The colors are beautiful and professional looking. The feel of the pencil is really nice. I write and draw a lot. I also have tendonitis in my wrist, which causes pain, shaking and numbness in my hand. With these, I have been able to write longer with a lot less pain. I would highly recommend these if you need a pencil that is a little heavier than the standard ones, but don’t want one that is so heavy you get tried writing quickly. I do recommend adding cushion to help with the pressure points on the fingers and give a little bit more thickness to help with wrist strain, if you have problems with that.

This jacket runs extremely small. I ordered it for my son who wears XL. It fits my size M son perfectly. It's a really nice jacket, but beware of sizing.

This product was specifically requested by office user(s) for comfort, lead strength and visual attributes. Price on Amazon, beats local retail or mass merchant store, excellent buy. I group my purchases and exceed the price for free shipping but turn around time for delivery wasn't bad. If I had to pay for shipping it might have been better to just shop locally, but I didn't so overall great purchase. Will buy again

Happy New Year, students! I have very kindly gotten you these mechanical pencils which will work for a whole three minutes before something breaks, the lead starts to slide back in, the eraser removes no writing, etc. I tried two different brands of 72 mechanical pencils, Tek Writer and June Gold. They were both horrendous. I will be buying a whole new set of Bic or Papermate because I am embarrassed to have given out such junk! I have about a hundred students, who used these for a 45 minute class after I gave them out, and nearly half of them experienced problems. They were shushing each other so that I would not feel bad about it, and saying "It's the thought that counts." Do not waste your money on either brand!

Grabbed this set of pencils for the office to share among coworkers. When we opened the first package and tried to remove the pencils the tops popped off (like a previous reviewer) and we had pencil tops and lead EVERYWHERE. Once we retrieved all the pieces from under desks and chairs and reassembled them the pencils seem to work well. We are going to use these pencils this time but will not repurchase this brand in the future.
