Wanted something to store charcoal, smoker pellets, and other items so settled on this due to its size and reasonable cost. It was boxed securely and tightly. The assembly instructions were probably the best I've seen in a long time, and assembly was easy and straight forward. The only issue, at least for me, was, when installing the last side panel, you have to lean over the box to reach the bottom to put in 5 screws. Of course I could have placed the box on its side but the instructions advised against doing that. Leaning over the side was a bit cumbersome for a short, girthy man, but all-in-all assembly was a breeze and only took about 30 minutes doing it myself. This box seems to be very sturdy with parts that fit together well. Instead of simply snapping parts together there a lot of screws used in assembly, making it much more tight and sturdy. It hasn't rained since I put it together but I really don't see where it could leak. Leakage would be a killer if using it for charcoal and smoker pellets like I am, so if it leaks I will update the review. Buying this box is a no-brainer if looking for one at a reasonable price that is easy to assemble, is sturdy and tight, can be locked, has great storage capacity, and looks great.

I bought this box primarily because it was reasonably priced and not hideous but I am MUCH more impressed with it now that I've got it and am using it. Impressed enough to write a review! The box, despite being plastic, looks very nice. The top looks like stitched leather and the side panels look like wood unless you're staring right at it. The black and grey looks very nice, and because the side panels are textured, it would be very easy to repaint this if desired without having to deal with the usual challenges of painting plastic. Considering how much nicer this looks than competitors who look like ugly playskool/tupperware overtly-plastic type stuff in the same relative price area, I would absolutely recommend people buy this specific one if they want some weatherproof outdoor storage. It was a breeze to assemble: I got the whole thing put together in probably under 5 minutes. It doesn't have that many pieces (bottom, lid, x4 side panels, x4 side supports) and they all snap together pretty easily without tools or much force. I had to put my weight on the final corner of the lid to snap that last corner into the side brace, but it did pop in without too much difficulty once I put some force into it, and I'm a small lady so probably most folks won't even have that issue. The instructions is just four images which are clear and easy to follow. As a tip, it's easier to get the lid lined up with the side panels and supports if you open the lid during the process. Assembled the box is very sturdy. It works easily as a seat for an adult human or could even be used as a little table. The lid opens and closes easily. It can be padlocked if desired but the hole for the lock is pretty small so it would have to be a smaller lock and not the normal heavy-duty padlock one might use on, say, a gate. There are large notches on each side to use as hand holds and they are deep and comfortable for easy lifting and moving. It also fits a lot more than I expected. I have a 25lb birdseed "vault" in there, a folding stool, plus a variety of fertilizers, plant food, fungicide, etc, some basic gardening tools, and a few spare sprinkler and hose parts. There's still plenty of room left in the box after that that I could easily put more if I wanted to. In short, I highly recommend this box and am very pleased with this purchase. I'm thinking of getting the 150gallon bench one now for the backyard.

I’ve been using the Keter Denali 200 Gallon Deck Box for a few weeks now, and it’s been a solid purchase. First off, the size is exactly what I needed. It easily holds all our pool floats and a few extra odds and ends with room to spare. The box looks sharp on the pool deck and blends in nicely with my outdoor furniture. Assembly was very straightforward. I put it together by myself in under an hour with just a screwdriver. The panels are sturdy and well designed, and everything clicked into place without frustration. One thing I really appreciate is how heavy duty this box feels. The resin material is thick and strong, and it doesn’t flex or warp like cheaper storage boxes I’ve owned in the past. The lid opens smoothly with the built-in pistons and closes securely. It’s also waterproof. I’ve had a couple heavy rains, and everything inside stayed completely dry. Since I’m using it to store pool floats that sometimes go in damp, I decided to drill a few small holes in the bottom for drainage. That’s a personal modification and not necessary for everyone, but it works well for my use case and hasn’t affected the integrity of the box at all. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s functional, and looks good doing its job. Highly recommend it if you need serious outdoor storage that can handle the elements.

Very easy and quick to assemble. Sturdy and does what it needs to do (hold charcoal and grilling supplies in my case). A lot nicer than some of the Rubbermaid stuff I've gotten, and it just clicks together. No tools needed.

This box looks great. Classes up my patio, and now my cushions have graduated from plastic bags to being in this lovely box. It all went together easy enough, and I'm sure it'll last and last and be great. And here is why it is not 5 stars: They gave me too many of the long screws, and not enough of the short ones. I doubled checked everywhere that I used them, and sure enough, it was the supply problem, not my mistake as I first assumed. Fortunately, I had suitable screws on hand to finish the project, and I didn't need the locking latch part, so saved two there. And the part pictured was malformed upon arrival. The plastic mold just wasn't correctly filled and processed. It left a hole that could let in rain or pests. I filled it with calk and metal tape, and I'm calling it good. Before I did that I tried to contact Keter for a replacement part and more screws. But I found it impossible to fill out the forms, and gave up. Unfortuante because it is an otherwise really nice box. The easy-open lid is awesome.

I'm actually using this smaller deck box as a salt box for the winter. I lined it with leftover plastic I had from some construction and dropped 80kg of road salt in it. It sits next to the garage and has been fantastic for a quick de-icing of the walk and driveway. Looks great as well - nowhere near as gross as the salt boxes you can buy. VERY easy to assemble - just snaps into place.

I shortlisted this and one other similar item, and chose this in the end a) because it was the heavier more solid of the two, and b) I already have a larger box of the same make and design. While the large patio deck box has many screws holding it together, this model just has plastic lugs on the corner posts. At first this felt like a weakness, but for all normal use it's more than sufficient. It requires a little dexterity but once you've figured how to hold everything aligned to put the top frame on, it's very quick and easy to assemble and stable. Some of the machining has left fluffy edges, but once it's assembled none of that shows, and it looks very respectable. Its solid enough to sit on, by design. I expect it locks just fine, although I haven't bothered. The box is small enough someone could just carry it off if they were determined to get in. It's sturdy and weatherproof enough for all normal use. All in all I'm very happy with it.

Completely waterproof and really good looking. Great wood and leather effect. Bought to store my BBQ tools, pots and pans.
