Just for reference, my dog is a 75lb Black Lab mix who is scared of the car and likes to jump all around in it looking for a way out! This strap is easily used by simply using the seatbelt that is already in your car. However, beware that you should tuck the seat belt somewhere where the dog can't step on it. My dog stepped on the release button and got himself untethered. We then covered the seatbelt button so that he could not step on it. As long as it is covered, it's a perfect solution for our dog that likes to jump around and make it dangerous for both him and the driver. I also like that it has a small amount of elastic so that there is some give in the tether in case you slam on the brakes he doesn't get choked. I would definitely buy this product again.

I had the smaller one for my old car. I just bought the longer one because it's longer distance for him to look out the window when I drive. I don't have to worry about him falling out! It's perfect for him to put his front paws on the door and stick his head partly out the window. I have a convertible vw bug. If you have a car where the seats are a bit lower compared to the window, get the longer one. If you have a normal car or truck like I used to where the distance from the seat to the window is shorter, get the shorter one. I can still adjust this to to shorter if I need it to be. But it's perfect.

this seat belt works well for my dog. he is very strong and likes to pull on the lead a lot. this helps him stay in place in the car so he will not jump out of the seat

I purchased this safety belt for when we ride around in the Jeep. We love taking the top off and I needed something to make it a bit safer for her to stick her head out. The belt helps, with extra protection, from her being able to fully extend out of the window. I use the clip that fits into the seatbelt and then clip it to her harness. So far, no issues with it coming unlatched or stretching too far.

This seat belt is sturdy and I love it. My dog has not bitten this up in all the time I’ve had it. It keeps him safe in my car and I’m grateful.

This is a great seatbelt attachment for my dogs harness and fits both it and my car perfectly. One little thing. On the logo on the strap there is a piece of plastic covering it. It was difficult to remove and could have been a hazard if i hadn't noticed it since my dog rides in the backseat. Maybe you can make that little piece more noticeable.

The item works and does the job accept But I don't know what the latch is for that is connected to the buckle.

I know it was made to clip into the seat like a baby seat, but I clipped it to the headrest, and it barely worked. But it worked! Lol

Very sturdy and easy to install in car's child locks but a bit to short, even stretched. Had to attached my old short one to this one for my Golden Retreiver to be able to move a little bit. Would only recommend if you have a small/med dog.

Works very well, very sturdy, never had an issue with it unclipping. Tried it in a 2007 Toyota Matrix and 2011 Nissan Altima and the buckle worked. Strong enough to hold my 60 lb pitbull in the backseat

I’m very impressed with the quality of the seatbelt. It’s a thick material that’s well stitched, the bungee part is strong, the double belt option is great, my dog’s able to move without the belt getting twisted and it’s adjusts to various lengths which; everything it’s states it will just way better quality that I was lead to believe. I HIGHLY recommend purchasing this product!

I liked how easy it was to adjust size and that it just clipped into the seatbelt making in awesome. I took my dog out, he resisted abit on the lead and it held up, figured I was good to go. He pulled it a few times, then just ate through it. Lasted half way of my 17min trip. He's not a chewer, but clever enough to sort out what to do if he doesn't like what's happening. Anyway, can't really recommend it, and I'll be looking for something stronger now as he knows he just has to eat leads like this to get loose.
