This is what i like about this timer: -metal ring: all others seem to use plastic. Immediately noticed cool to the touch and little heavier. -Easy to use: dialing up and down the time, and Timer and Stopwatch functions pretty straightforward. -Auto off: if not actively timing, it turns off automatically after a while -Strong magnets: sticks to my fridge and stovetop hood. -Price: was good already, but had a coupon, so even better! Great price for that metal ring. Things i wasnt aware of when i first got it: -didnt know how to turn off, had to look up and find out it auto-offs when stopped -Rotating dial is smooth, but there is a subtle click. I thought it be smooth like a knob or that Nest thermostat. Nothing bad about it, just different. Main uses: FINALLY an easy to use timer/stopwatch. Dont have to rely on my phone, or my watch, or my crappy digital kitchen timer that overcomplicates itself for such a simple task.

For college, I use it to study, works great. Silent mode, or loud. Just don’t leave it in the bottom of your backpack and it’ll die quickly when you forget about it. Take it to the library etc, nice and light.

Note: I see a lot of reviews about not being able to adjust with one hand. The timer comes with a plastic coating on the magnets and if you ease them up with a fingernail, you can peal them off. The new surface is much tackier and allows for one-handed adjustment on most surfaces. That also might solve the 'slipping down' on whiteboard issue... Although this Liorque timer is nearly perfect it fell short of my odd requirement, so I punished them with a star removal! :-) This is the easiest timer ever to use, but it makes a click noise when pressing, and I wanted to use in in a hot-mic recording studio. It really is a five-star for most people. Enjoy my video to see how simple it is to use. It counts forward to one second short of 100 minutes, 99:59 and can quickly be set to count down from 1 minute all the way to 99:59 all the way to zero and an optional loud beep, medium beep, or silent notification will alert you when the timer finishes. The price is really reasonable and the quality to great. It is powered by three-AAA batteries, included. Mine came with a smooth metalic finish, but I have seen some with a textured ring for better grip. That is a non-issue for me, but it may concern you under special circumstances.

I've had this timer for a while now. As a person who loves to bake this is an amazing tool. The display is clear to see from across the kitchen. The magnet works well ans has not fell once on me. For the price I cannot complain. Recommend for anyone looking for a timer.

I've had it for five months and suddenly the rotation of the unit has no effect. Pressing it will start a timer like a stopwatch (it measures how much time is passing), but I can't set it to act as a timer (meaning, count down) and I can't change the time on it at all. It's completely nonresponsive. I know it wasn't expensive but this seems to be a short life. I've changed the batteries twice to be sure it's not a power issue; it's not.

very easy to use. spin the dial fast to increase the minutes and wait a few seconds to get out of that mode to adjust the seconds the same way. then press down on the display to activate. the alarm is loud enough and the magnet is strong.

Mon mari avait acheté un minuteur mécanique sans pile, mais le fait de remonter à fond puis de régler le minuteur, cela fonctionnait une fois sur deux. Donc j'ai pris se minuteur avec piles. Les piles sont incluses. Facile d'utilisation, aimant puissant. J'ai mis le minuteur en mode Eco, pour économiser sur les piles. Le dernier réglage reste. Ce n'est pas la première fois que j'achète un produit de la marque Liorque et je suis entièrement satisfaite de ces produits.

What can I say, its a Kitchen timer, its easy to use and kind of looks stylish. The twist dial is easy to use and most importantly it Counts up and down.. alarm is a decent volume as well.

L'ho acquistato in sostituzione di uno meccanico che dopo neanche 2 anni si è rotto, nonostante l'abbia usato con tutte cautele possibili. Purtroppo tutti i timer che si trovano in commercio ora hanno i meccanismi interni in plastica (molla a parte) e la loro vita media è bassa. Questo della Liorque essendo digitale suppongo dovrebbe durare parecchio più a lungo. Il design è piacevole, numeri grandi e finiture in alluminio e una calamita per posizionarlo su superfici metalliche. L'uso è molto semplice e funge sia da timer sia da cronometro, tempo massimo 99 minuti e 55 secondi, in entrambi i casi. Ruotando la ghiera lentamente si va di 5 sec in 5 sec, ruotando più velocemente di minuto in minuto, anche se è abbastanza difficile modulare la velocità per passare da una modalità all'altra, ma non è per nulla un problema. L'unico vero neo di questo timer potrebbe essere il volume della suoneria, che anche la massimo (3 livelli), non è potentissimo. Se si ha casa grande e/o c'è molto rumore ambientale potrebbe non sentirsi, a meno di non portarselo dietro. Su Amazon se ne trova in vendita uno molto simile con la ghiera esterna corrugata, ma con il corpo in plastica. Dopo averci pensato un po' ho preferito questo, con il corpo in alluminio, il fatto che la ghiera sia liscia non crea alcun problema di "presa" in quanto il movimento è molto morbido. Consigliato.
