Now that my oldest is in kindergarten, we've been doing reading logs and this seemed like the easiest and most fun way to get my kids to love reading. I've never read any chapter books to them yet so this was a first for us. And I was SHOCKED at how well they sat and listened and wanted to keep reading to find out what happens next. It also helps it's all the things they love like dinosaurs, knights and pirates. It's been fun for me too to read to them and connect with them.
