No Frill FM-Bluetooth Transmitter
This is really a no frills FM-Bluetooth Transmitter. But there are some faults to this. Let me share the bad then move on to the good. But let me share this major tip. Set the transmitter volume to maximum. While this is a FM-Bluetooth transmitter, it is really is not meant for phone to phone conversation & this product isn't it's strongest feature. Why? Let me explain. When making or receiving a call. You have to press your preset radio station if it's not already chosen to make or receive calls. Especially if you are listening to another preset radio station. It can be annoying to hit that FM Transmitter station. This has happened to me on several occasions. But it'll be repetitive soon. Now several users has mentioned about the feedback noise. While this is true and it stems from the alternator. It's only when you are on a bluetooth call and the radio volume is on a very high setting. However, this does not affect during bluetooth music streaming or using the USB Drive. What I mean is that, when you need to hear someone from the other end of a phone call. The transmitter isn't as strong to produce the sound to all speakers. Even when you have your phone bluetooth volume on maximum. YOu need to turn up the volume from your radio head unit. But again this also depends on your own car speakers as well. So that is one feature that could be improved if the manufacture decides to do so. My other annoyance, is the USB connection. Depending on the cable or USB drive you use. It can be somewhat a tight fit as you can see in my pic. Sure I can buy a right angle cord to charge my phone. But why add more cables to my collection? Now for the USB drive. This can be somewhat a good thing and a bad thing. Upon start up. It can either be recognized or not. Sometimes while playing it'll just go to "unrecognized" for several seconds. Then it comes back again. This product only plays MP3's. No wav, mp4. I cannot comment on AAC or ALAC as I don't have songs in those format. So if you going to bring your music onto a USB Drive. Be sure it's in a format that the KM 30 can play. I haven't tried the SD card feature as of yet. So I will make an update at a later time. The good. The Bluetooth streaming is great. Providing you set your equalizer on your phone correctly or neutral. Most modern Smartphones has an EQ feature. So I suggest you play your favorite song or a song that has a balance of bass, treble and mids. This will ensure that whatever streaming music you use. You will get that sound great. Even with the OEM speakers. Once that is complete. You will want to adjust your stock your radio sound settings. Most stock radio has bass, mids and treble. Set those at neutral and adjust accordingly. Then move onto the KM30 bass and treble and adjust accordingly. This will take some to get the sound you are after from your . Using a USB Drive? Well this all depends on your music library. If you have a library of music on a hard drive, not all music are set a particular bit rate (kbps). I know I don't. I have bit rates ranging from 92kbps to 320kbps. So the best method from my 2 week experience. Again find a music that is really balanced with bass, mids and treble and have a 128kbps. I actually used Metallica- Hollier than Thou and Delinquent Habits - California. Yes I have a wide range of music taste when I cruise. When you play you will have to make adjustments to the bass, mids and treble from your stock radio and from the KM30. So music lovers between normal radio stations, music streaming to music on a USB drive. You will need to find that balance of sound. While this might be a pain. It's so much better than making a phone call. Again this is a no frills FM-Bluetooth Transmitter. This works perfect for older cars once the sound is dialed in correctly. My only suggestion that this product would have an edge over the others. If this could pivot left and right. But that is a small pet peeve on my part. Enjoy! Car 2004 Mazda3 Hatchback. Stock Radio with 2 year old JBL Club 6x8 Speakers in 4 doors. No amps.

Exceptional Product
This transmitter not only sounds great, but it also looks and feels great. The sound quality is as good as your speakers allow it to be. In my case, everything sounds great. I rarely adjust the bass or treble unless I want to mess around with the audio, but it's not necessary. Make sure to use radio-locator or any other website for locating unused radio channels in order to get the best possible performance out of this product's main transmitter feature. The design allows it to be so low profile that it's not an eyesore. Make sure to remove it once you're done though because it does stay on and can slowly drain your car's battery. Another great thing about this product is its durability. I live in California so the sun is not shy to come out. I've left the product in our SUV's front compartment ever since I bought it, which was months ago, and it's still running perfectly. It remembers that it was connected to my phone so I simply plug it in, press play, and head on out. On that note, I would also like to mention that the media controls on this product work for all of the apps I use, such as Spotify, YouTube Music, and Youtube, even when the phone is off. I know that's a common feature, but many products get media controls wrong, not this one. Other things to mention are that the USB ports allow for exceptional charging performance, but I rarely use them so it's not so big a deal to me, but maybe for others. Also, the mic quality as described by people I've called through this product is not the best, but it's good enough to make out what you're saying. It's not a big issue to me because I do not call often when I'm driving, but many others do. The display is great at what it's supposed to do, such as displaying the song name, the song length, the song frequencies, radio station, etc. It's enough information that can be absorbed with a quick glance, do not look at it too long while driving. I cannot comment on the sd card and aux out functionality as I have not used them nor am I planning to because I have no need for them as of now. Overall, this transmitter has great sound quality, great build quality, great features, and a great value. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to add Bluetooth functionality to their car.

A very satisfactory HandsFree kit
The item arrived well-packaged and with an aux cable for cars like mine that do not have built-in Bluetooth. Connecting it to a Free FM station on my radio was easy enough. The unit plugs into the car's cigarette lighter, although it's a very tight fit and requires some force to get it in. The biggest downside is that there does not seem to be an 'on/off' switch for the unit, so it is on when it is inserted into the lighter. This will be a small but continuous drain on the car's battery, which bothers me as the car can stand for up to three days without use. I have to manually remove it each time I leave the car. Given the tight fit, this is an irritation. I was not overly impressed with the audio quality, although, to be fair, I wear hearing aids that don't give me '20/20' hearing in all environments, and the car's stereo is a standard factory fit. Moreover, I guess I cant expect studio-quality sound coming from an mp3 on my mobile, sent by Bluetooth to this unit and then transferred via the unit's amplifier (with its own inherent quality) to my car stereo, also with its own amplifier. There is bound to be some quality degradation, and as a semi-pro muso used to using in-ear monitors, I'm likely a bit too critical. The purpose of this review is to guide others, so the real question is, would I recommend it? The answer is yes. I recommend it. It's a neat, largely functional piece of kit well worth the price and more than adequate for most users. Close to 5 stars, but the missing 'on/off' switch made it less than perfect. (Maybe I must rtfm. If I find the 'on/off' function, I will upgrade to 5 stars.)

Real Person: It's actually a good FM Transmitter
Decent FM Transmitter, gets the job done and has had no problems so far with it (I've probably had it about two months), compatible with SD card and Bluetooth, don't know about the calling function, haven't used it. Easy to use and figure out, especially if you refer to the guide. I'd say overall worth what I spent.

NULAXY Bluetooth transmitter
I recently gifted my husband the NULAXY Bluetooth FM Transmitter, and it has been a fantastic addition to his car! The setup was incredibly easy; he just plugged it into the car's cigarette lighter, and it connected effortlessly to his smartphone via Bluetooth. One of the standout features is the crystal-clear sound quality. Whether he’s listening to his favorite music or taking calls, the audio comes through without any distortion. The built-in microphone picks up his voice clearly, making hands-free calling a breeze. The LCD display is a nice touch, showing the frequency and battery status, and the USB ports provide convenient charging options for his devices. He loves being able to stream his playlists and podcasts directly through the car's stereo system. Overall, the NULAXY Bluetooth FM Transmitter has made his driving experience more enjoyable and connected. It’s user-friendly, reliable, and an excellent value for the price. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their car audio setup!

Pretty good, but aux out (not aux in) is a glaring shortcoming
2024 July update: I've gotten annoyed at this thing as the "random" play feature for songs on my usb drive is utterly predictable. There's nothing random about the song order. I've tried a gazillion times to change the play order, and less than 1% of the time there is a glitch that has indeed changed the random play order. But not for the 99.99% of other times. I'm done with this thing and am getting something else. I previously had a Nulaxy KM18 FM transmitter. What I like about this KM30: - Has an onboard microphone. KM18 did not and relied on my phone mic for car conversations. I had to speak pretty loud to project my voice across to my phone, which was arm's length away, plus my phone mic is not the greatest to begin with. The microphone on this seems to work well. - Has an on/off button (TRE button, long press). - Shows car voltage at all times. KM18 only showed when phone wasn't connected. What I don't like: - KM18 had an audible "Paired" whenever the phone bluetooth connected. This one only shows the connection on the screen, which is a bit small. - Did I mention that the screen is pretty small? For all the info it shows, it should be twice as big. - Overall volume projection on this is about 10-15% less than KM18. - Has Aux out and not Aux in. At first I thought this was a wording mistake. It is not. In case the FM signal doesn't transfer to your car radio sufficiently, you can connect the Aux out on this to the Aux in on your car stereo. Huh? Seems redundant, plus for me, at least, THE reason I got this was because I don't have an Aux in on my car stereo. Duh. This completely undid my typical usage of plugging my mp3 player into the FM transmitter via the transmitter Aux in port. Can't be done on this one. It's a stupid decision. The workaround was to transfer my music from my mp3 player to a usb drive (must use FAT32 file system, not NTFS) and plug that into this transmitter. There is no folder control (instructions say there is, but I don't see it). You can choose between repeat all, repeat once, and random play. At worst I have to scroll through all 600 of my songs to get the one I want. On the other hand, I don't have to worry about my mp3 battery life, anymore, as I'm simply playing songs off the usb drive. I haven't used this enough yet to see whether I'll be disgusted enough with this last issue to just return the thing, not sure. UPDATE October 17, 2020 I'm now able to access folder control and see all my songs according to folder/artist. While I'm happy about this the biggest problem accessing my folders is that the screen is too small. My cigarette lighter plug is down by my knee, hence this transmitter is not only an arm's reach away, but it's also low. If I'm wearing my shades it's almost impossible to read the screen (and definitely dangerous to try while driving). If this thing had an Aux in plug the screen size wouldn't have been an issue. So, it either needs an Aux in plug or for the screen to be 3 - 4x bigger. It's neat, it works well, but in practicality using it is a hassle. If you store and play music from your phone my complaints probably won't affect you as much. I have been in communication with Nulaxy reps, and they've been very accommodating. If you have any problems with their products be assured they will help you.

Great device
Had a few of these type of devices over the years and they have all been a bit of a let down. Thought I would give this one a go due to the good reviews and wow, what a difference. I have been using it now for over a month and it has worked flawlessly the entire time. No issues with bt connection but the main positive for me is that I have had no problems with interference and the sound quality for streaming music has been excellent. Then you get the bonus of the nice screen with some info on what's playing and a equaliser. Hands free wise, it always works great and I can be heard clearly by callers. I really am very pleased with this device, worth every penny and saved me having to upgrade the head unit on my car.
