Another great feature are the USB sockets which are the fast-charge type and each has an integrated Circuit to monitor the charging rate and prevent over-charging for smart phones, and other digital equipment. I have used mine with an iPhone and iPad and the devices have no issues whatsoever. I really like the USB features as I no longer have to use my long Apple charging mains to USB cables any longer. We have electric lift and rise armchairs with massage functions and Heat pads,and both these have large heavy adaptors build onto the plug that make it really awkward trying to fit into a standard extension if you have more than one of these to plug in.
