BLISSBURY Piercing Pillow, Ear Pillow with Hole, Adjustable Memory Foam

It's barely been 3 days and I can already tell this is the best pillow I've ever purchased. I'm going to sound like a nut in this review and I'm not usually an excitable person, but I'm just so happy this worked out, especially given how affordable this product was. I have lots of piercings in my ears but even if those weren't there, I've always hated the pressure I get on my cartilage from side sleeping. This pillow is sooo comfortable in many different ways. It's not just after hours of side sleeping when I'm thankful for this pillow either. From the first moment I rest my head, it feels wonderful to not be lying on my ears. Love that I can also use my ear buds no problem. Comfort level is perfect for me. This pillow is firm so if you like your pillows floppy and practically nonexistent, this might not be for you. I'm 5'3.5", smallish frame, and the height with the insert is perfect for me, but I do have a mattress topper that makes everything sink, so that may be helping. However, I know I could always remove the 1" insert and it'd still be perfect. I love the way it aligns my spine and my neck is supported, straight up against the edge of the pillow. I read one review before purchasing about how their head slips off the edge when they have their ears aligned with the hole because of lack of support and then was worried the distance between the edge wouldn't be enough, but my worries were so unfounded. I have plenty distance between the edge, what I would have naturally on any other pillow, and this one is not lacking in support by any means. If you're taller and worried about how it can fit a 5'3" woman and not you, I wouldn't worry too much. Flip the pillow upside down, and there is a different distance between the ear holes and bottom edge, I believe they did this for people with a longer neck or broader shoulders. At the very least, give it a try! I'm so glad I did, despite my concerns. Finally, looking at pictures, I was wondering why it was necessary for two holes on each side rather than one in the middle, even considered buying their mini pillow instead for that reason- I'm so happy I went with this one cause I quickly figured out why! Half-asleep, I flipped sides the other night and without even thinking about it or trying, my ear perfectly fell into the other hole as I turned over. It was such a cool find, I woke up completely to laugh about how awesome that was. Simple, but it's the little things in life. You truly thought of pretty much everything, Blissbury! Thank you! My only critique, which I've seen a couple others have, is why not sell extra pillow cases in different colors? I'd love to purchase a grey one so the white doesn't stand out so much on my non-white bedset. I know I could just put on a different loose cover and make sure the holes still function, however I do love the material the original is made out of and also would like to purchase from you guys again. However, that is a tiny, tiny problem to have when I'm now sleeping so much more comfortably and thoroughly. So thanks again for designing this and making it affordable!

Game changer. I am someone who has struggled with severe tinnitus in the past. As part of my therapy, I do sound therapy while sleeping using a headband with built in speakers. This works great, but getting comfortable on the pillow without affecting the sound quality has always been a challenge. The blissbury ear hole pillow solved this problem. The hole in the pillow allows the speakers to not be 'squished' in the pillow, which can mess up the sound coming from the speakers. This can also cause night time awakenings. The first night I slept on the Blissbury I woke up and in the morning and immediately noticed my excessive amount of nighttime awakenings was no longer an issue! Also, the pillow is great and of high quality. I am a natural side sleeper who likes firmness from my pillow. I would rate the cushion as being on the firm side, but not too hard. The support level is absolutley perfect. No neck pain. The casing is extremely comfortable and cool. It is easy to remove and clean, which I have done thus far. I am someone who had severe insomnia from tinnitus at one time in my life. I am now getting around 7 hours of sleep per night and my Blissbury pillow is a significant part of the things I have done to fix this problem. If you are a tinnitus sufferer I strongly recommend this pillow. Whether you are using ear level or room level sound, I highly recommend it. I am a customer for life!

I previously bought this pillow in the white fabric cover, and I love it. It is firm it does exactly what it’s intended for. My piercings don’t get irritated with this pillow. Because I was going to be spending a number of days at my parents house for the holidays, I shipped a pillow to them, and I purchased the silk cover, thinking it would be a nice change for my skin. However, this pillow is not firm, and is in fact very very soft. I would have purchased the same as previous if I had realized that this was soft. I don’t remember seeing this explicitly stated on the listing, but I could have missed it and it might’ve been user error. Overall, I am very happy with the original purchase, but I am annoyed that the newer purchase is not what I anticipated.

I’ve been sleeping on this pillow for a while now and I absolutely love it. I have lots piercings on my ears (17, some of which are quite exotic and troublesome) that regularity cause me problems if I sleep on them wrong. I tried other pillows previously, including the cute little frosted donut plush that many people use, but I’d end up with even more pain and neck issues. I finally decided to get serious about my search when I got a new flat piercing on one of my ears. Unable to stay sleeping on my back and determined not to let this notoriously difficult piercing migrate or reject, I finally came across this pillow and I’m SO GLAD I gave it a try! The pillow’s two ear holes and roomy and it has a removable layer inside to change the height of the pillow, which is doubly awesome. The foam is soft and comfy, but still supportive. The pillow case is nice and plush — definitely great quality as well. This has just been an amazing experience all around. I even purchased two extra pillow cases from the manufacturer (they offered a coupon — thanks so much!). (Wrapping it in a regular pillowcase kind of makes the holes harder to use, so I wouldn’t really recommend that approach.) I would also like to note that there is a smaller travel size version of this pillow available, but it doesn’t have adjustable height. Turns out I liked the lower height better, so I’m glad I went with this pillow. I’m super happy with my purchase and I recommend this pillow to others with ear piercings 100%. It’s comfortable sleeping on your side or back. It’s well made and packaged thoughtfully. Very well worth the money. Update (7 months later) - this pillow was wonderful until about 1 month ago. Because the two ear holes are so far apart, the side that I sleep on has worn down considerably and puts my head in an uncomfortable position sleeping. I think it’s a great concept and was a game changer at first but I really would not expect to use this for more than 6 months. It is impossible to flip it around to “evenly” wear it out because the ear holes are not centered. Pretty disappointed and will probably end up buying a new one or using the smaller travel pillow because there seems to be no solution to one side wearing down more. ORIGINAL Update (Nov 2025) This pillow metaphorically saved my LIFE, I was sleeping on a tiny donut pillow on top of a regular flat pillow since April but then I went on reddit and someone mentioned blissburry for piercing pillows. I bought this pillow to sleep with and it’s absolutely amazing. My cartilage piercings are way less irritated and I sleep a lot better with this full size pillow. I did not need to take out any of the padding and have been sleeping great.

I am a side sleeper, and my ears have hurt for years until I found this pillow. I would wake up because of how painful they were. I really like that this pillow has two holes so I can turn over to the other side. It has worked great and is the only pillow I sleep on. No more waking up to painful ears!

UPDATE: while this pillow didn’t work for me personally, the company was very good and willing to help the situation. Thanks so much! So I loved the idea of this pillow! 2 months ago I got a snug piercing in my ear and for a month I didn’t sleep on my left side. But then I started sleeping on my left and tried things like the little inflatable rings to sleep on, neck rolls and lastly a super soft pillow. The soft pillow worked the best for me but then I saw in an article someone talked about a pillow with cut outs for your ears so here I came to Amazon! This pillow had loads of good reviews, but really was a bit expensive. I thought I’d give it a try because it it worked for me, then I’d get more comfortable sleep. Pros: Here’s what I did like. The ear holes and the adjustable height option of the pillow. The cover is also a soft material. Cons: Here’s what didn’t work for me. The ear holes are lower on one end than the other, but even on the shortest end, my ear was much lower than the hole so I would eventually end up with the end of the hole pushing on my snug and that pain would wake me up. I did wake up even to adjust the height because it was too tall, bending my neck uncomfortably, but the adjustment was minimal and so it still left my neck creaked. The worst part, and this hasn’t happened to me yet with anything, is my ear at my snug piercing was completely swollen this morning. I believe this was from the constant trouble of keeping my ear in the hole because there was too much pillow from my neck to the ear hole. So a swing and a miss for me.

I've been using this pillow every night for a year. I needed an ear-hole pillow to allow me to wear earbuds while sleeping on my side (don't ask). The hole placement, and pillow thickness and firmness work well for me, using the included extra foam layer. The double-weave case (not satin) is very comfortable. I can compress this into its travel bag to put in luggage (about 14" long x 7" diameter), which DOES require significant hand strength (I'm male). There are some complaints in the negative reviews that I consider unjustified: Smell: Evidently, some did not read the directions. Initially the smell is bad, but this dissipates mostly in 24 hours as claimed, after which I could use it; and, I could not detect any smell after 1 week. Can't use a standard pillow case: Of course not, a standard pillow case covers the holes. That is why this pillow comes with a custom pillow case, and why you can buy additional ones. I bought the "pillow with 2 cases" package and alternate the cases on wash days. It takes a little care, but not much effort to swap the case and keep the holes aligned. I do use my fingers to bury the zipper toggle deep into its pocket so that it does not scrape on our head board, and that then requires a tool (needle-nosed pliers) to start un-zipping. Other comments: There is no pleasing everyone. Complaints run from "too hard" to "too soft", holes are "too big" or "too small". I wonder whether people whose head did not stay on the pillow ("holes too close to edge") are using the satin cover, rather than the double weave cover, or didn't try using the opposite hole to face toward the middle. For me, the thickness is right, the firmness is right, the holes are in a good place. I want my face near the edge of the pillow so that there is less pressure on my nasal passages and my nose tilts slightly toward the mattress. I don't slide off. I don't find the cover hot, and I find it well ventilated. I can roll over from one side to the other and land my opposite ear pretty close to the second hole; however, for other reasons, I do move the pillow when I change sides. The cases are swapped every week, so each have been washed and re-installed over the foam more than 25 times, with no problems regarding durability. I do NOT have pointy things in my ears (piercings), so I cannot comment on snagging. The descriptive information for this pillow lists its overall size (26x15, I'd say 24x14, but close) and the size of the ear holes (4.3x2.7, agreed, or maybe 4x3), but the description does not specify the hole location. Here is that information: Side edge of pillow to nearest edge of hole: 5 inches Bottom edge of pillow to bottom edge of hole: 3.5 inches Top edge of pillow to top edge of hole: 6.5 inches Inboard edge of hole to inboard edge of other hole: 8 inches (It all adds up if you assume 24x14 for the overall size, and 4x3 for the holes.) Thickness does measure 5 inches, with the extra pad, with no compression. Again, sleep comfort is HIGHLY individual. This pillow works well for me, evidently not for everyone.

Esta es la almohada más cómoda que he usado jamás. Desde el año pasado empecé a hacerme perforaciones en la oreja derecha y llevaba meses o durmiendo de un sólo lado o usando un cojín de cuello para viaje cuando quería dormir de ese lado. Era bastante incómodo sinceramente. Los cojines de viaje son muy planos y no dan soporte en el cuello, pero si lo pongo sobre mi almohada normal queda demasiado alto. Bueno, hace unas dos semanas me perforé la otra oreja y pensé que iba a dormir mal por lo menos un par de meses pero aguanté así que decidí buscar una almohada con agujeros para las orejas. Me decidí por esta porque tiene dos huecos y definitivamente fue la mejor decisión. El soporte de esta almohada es perfecto, es increíblemente cómoda y ya no sufro del cuello ni de las orejas ni de nada. Me encanta! Mis piercings están sanando perfecto y duermo increíble. De hecho, duermo mejor que antes de mis perforaciones. Duermo mejor que lo que dormía con mi antigua almohada, no es demasiado suave ni demasiado rígida. Ahora me entusiasma irme a dormir en las noches.

L'unica domanda che mi sorge spontanea è: perché non l'ho comprato prima?! (lobi in guarigione da 2 mesi) Al momento l'ho usato solo una notte, ma la differenza sui miei lobi, un po' meno gonfi (e grazie al cielo per nulla doloranti) la mattina seguente si nota già! Grazie, grazie, GRAZIE!!

両耳にヘリックスが開いているので通常の枕では痛くて寝れないので思い切って購入！ 若干、首から耳の位置が遠い。私の首が短いのか耳穴がもっと大きければ最高なのですが…。 値段が高いのでこの出来栄えでは違う商品を探した方がいいと思います。
