I cannot say what is in the bottle. I can say it is very good at getting of bed bugs. We had a visitor one time that left his bed bugs with us. We tried everything we could find in the retail market...……...no good, we still had the bugs. Finally I said enough is enough. I invested $50.00 in a gallon of the "Harris Pyrethroid Resistant" bed bug killer. Before using this I would see bed bugs in different rooms of the house; within 2 weeks of spraying the house bed bugs were reduced greatly. There has not been a bug in and around the beds for over a month. Can't say I have gotten rid of all bugs yet, but working on it. This spray is well worth the money. You will like the results.

Is this safe on clothing?

I do not know.. I never sprayed on my clothes, however, I did spray around clothing around the closet and around the base of my dresser.
