I grew up on a farm and my dad had beehives and an apple grove, so we had the best honey around.When I went away to college, I was forced to settle for honey from the grocery store, but I didn't like the taste, and I didn't like that it was pasteurized. I ordered Nate's for a while, then the whole heated scandal erupted, so I tried Kevala. It tastes closer to the raw honey I grew up with.I still buy honey from local farms when I can, but I use a LOT of honey because I don't like the taste of white sugar. The price is good and they seem to be reputable. Most honey is sourced from the Mexican rainforest. I would prefer honey raised in the US because so much imported honey is adulterated, but this seemed a reasonable compromise.

I consider myself to be a honey connoisseur, I am obsessed with all things honey, so when I say this is a DELICIOUS brand, I mean it ! It has a “light” honey flavor, it keeps very well in the jar it is packaged in, it goes perfectly on EVERYTHING (I should know, I put it on everything!) and it is a good, raw honey, so it has the most good (healthy) benefits!

The taste is blissful & I add to almost everything! I have tried many brands of honey but this one is by far one of the best in quality! The texture is a cross between thick & creamy! I also use this honey to put in my face mask and it does wonders to skin! Definitely worth every bit of the price!

Updated review: I kind of feel really disappointed by this honey now, after using it for more than a month. My partner and I started feeling our teeth and gums feeling sore, which usually happens when we take refined sugar. Since we're very cautious about our diet in general, I started to think the cause may be from this honey.So, I went online and did some research. And found out about how to test if honey is real or pure and nothing added. Apparently, if you dip the tip of a matchstick in a little honey and strike it, it should light up instantly. If it doesn't or extinguishes fast after it's lit, then the honey isn't pure. I did this test, and the other pure honey that I had at home passed; the matchstick lighted up and burned as usual. This honey however, failed this test! It ignited very little, then it smouldered, and the flame died really quickly.I no longer feel like I can trust this brand anymore after doing this test. I don't think this is pure honey at all. I won't be buying this again.----------Old review (this was my old review when I trusted that this honey was truly raw and pure as they say): This honey is really nice and thick. It feels like there is some of the beeswax in it, as it's not clear honey but it's somewhat like a lightly creamed honey.I was quite pleasantly surprised as I've not come across honey like this in a long time.It has a very nice floral fragrance that's like orange blossom or something similar.The only thing that I find a little inconvenient is the plastic jar. More particularly the lid on it which is a little tricky to screw back on smoothly once it's opened. But I do understand why they'd use a plastic jar for shipping safety and lighter weight. I removed one star for this alone. Otherwise, the honey itself is a 5 star for me.

Texture and flavor confirmed to me that this honey is raw and unfiltered. Mild earthy taste. Stronger than clover but milder than blackberry honey. I usually purchase a competitors raw clover honey in large bulk 11 lb pail. I enjoy both brands. This has a stronger flavor but quality same. A little cheaper for this brand so I tried it. Will continue to purchase both brands.P.S. One reviewer was complaining there is added "sugar" in this honey because of information on label. I'm guessing they are referring to the nutrition label information. All honey has "sugar" grams, carbohydrates. Person said they are diabetic. Runs in my family. Sorry they left negative review, not an accurate statement about honey, regardless of the brand. This "sugar" is 100% natural in honey :-)I used this in my tea. Delicious!

It is at a good price compared to other honeys, but the flavor is rich but it does not replace my other raw honey. I would buy it again, maybe, when I didn't find the honey I like.

Oh wow! This stuff is absolutely awesome! Delicious In flavor and perfect texture! And I really appreciate the packaging.... The jar was sealed very well and they had it protected in bubble wrapping. I will definitely be purchasing more of this honey. Two thumbs up!

I didn't really feel any healing benefits. I am a user of honey for 30yrs.
