So much better than using a conventional torch and bottle set-up. Able to get into tighter places and direct the heat where needed.

I use a plumbing torch every day for a living and was hoping this would be a good tool for getting into those spots where a regular mapp gas torch is bulky and hard to get in small spaces. This isn't a good torch at all. The gas flow has to be set to full flow otherwise the tip glows red. There is also absolutely no way to stop/ turn off flame without turning off the regulator itself. So in the event you need to stop the flame immediately you have to some how hold the flaming torch, grab the gas bottle and turn off the regulator all at the same time.. it's not a safe torch to use at all.. I will be returning it for a refund

This is a great torch for soldering copper pipe. I needed a torch to get in small places under a sink. I would purchase this product again if needed.

The hose started to fall apart after about six months, and it's absolutely shredded after a year, unsafe to use now, will have to replace with something better.
