I just measured mine. 7 quarters fit in there perfectly & the lid screws on tight. I wouldn't say they are water tight but for a thicker cream I think they would work well. Just stack up 7 quarters & you'll see how much cream you can fit in one of these handy little plastic jars.Have a safe trip!
