The mouse is the same, feels nice and smooth, the clicks are soft and quiet but you can physically feel the click, the rotating wheel is also the same smoothness and feel. This kit is the literal definition of plug and play. No issues there. I've found it has little to no lag when moving the mouse around or typing. Very nice product. I have a one customer whose desks are really close together, so decided to try these MK395 Silent Keyboard and Mouse Combo kits to reduce the noise in the office, and I have to say, I'm really impressed. We started with 2 of them for the noisier typers, and since then I've kitted out everyone else in the office with one (another 10) and they make a huge difference not just for the noise levels but also for those who typed a little noisier now don't have to worry. The keyboards are pretty lightweight, a little heavier than the MK270, but that's not an issue. Mice are nice and responsive, with a good scroll function. No issues with lag either. Everyone is really happy with them. All the machine have internet connections, so just plug the dongle in and it's good to go in a couple of seconds so really easy to setup and depending on when you buy, I've paid between £28.49 and £39.99 for the kit which even at the higher price it's great value for the peace it brings to an office. Windows Drivers are regularly updated to run the latest devices and some manufacturers write their own. As there are too many products available, Microsoft write the code for major manufacturers and then do generic drivers for the rest. As these keyboards and mice are Logitec the PC will use the generic drivers for the mice but the keyboards have their own drivers which are uploaded to the PC the first time they are connected. Theoretically, you can connect unlimited numbers of keyboards and mice but practically you cannot be using more than one of each at any one time. So, you can't have two people or more typing at the same time. Trying to use more than one keyboard or mouse at the same time will cause system conflicts that will crash the system at the very least, at worst it will corrupt .sys and .inf files that could require a clean reinstall of Windows being needed. Trying to operate two mice / keyboards at the same time can do a lot of damage so Windows will only load one of each at Boot up. Remember, the first two files that are loaded from the Boot Sector are the keyboard then the mouse. If they can't load the PC cannot boot up. So, that is your answer, theoretically you can connect and use as many as you want but practically you can't.
