One I definitely think there is way too much going on. I feel like the author is just putting any and everything that could be, Scene is horrible into the series. Him as for the FMC bless her soul, she puts up with a lot from three of her raggedy virtues. I don’t like how she’s being blamed for a lot of things most of which she doesn’t even remember and she’s just supposed to take this anger and hate and rage that two of her virtues have against her and be OK with it and forgive them. Slight spoiler alert but if I was her I would get rid of Dante Hendrix and Cole like they are toxic narcissist all three of them are trash.Again a lot happened in this book but then a lot didn’t happen in this book. I will say most of the books are pretty short. But I also feel like priorities don’t make sense. Spoiler the FMC dies is in purgatory which amounts to her being gone for a year she comes back everyone’s pissed at her for dying even though one of her virtues killed her, then she’s told you have a week until Lucifer comes up to end all the worlds but you need to attend classes. Like how does that make sense things have gone to hell in a handbasket but you still need to attend classes and homework and all of that like that is unnecessary and ridiculous.Also the spicy ends are mediocre, just your basic sex no real foreplay no real descriptors like just real mediocre so you can’t even say like oh the spice in this book is out of this world it’s not. And sometimes I skipped the spice because it was at an unnecessary time like the worlds are ending you don’t need to be thinking about sex right now when people are literally dying and you’re supposed to save them. Honestly her virtues are very immature and Aside from two of them the others are trash some level of trash and it sucks because like she’s stuck with them and she’s the only one trying to communicate feelings even though she does a horrible job of it communication is garbage between all of the virtues as well.Well I finish the series yes I am four books and about to start five and I think there’s nine in total again the books are short so it’s not that they’re a long read and honestly they probably could’ve been condensed into three chunkier books but I’m not mad at it it’s just again a lot of things going on most of which are unnecessary to the plot just a lot of added fluff when we probably could’ve gotten to be crescendo and end already and I don’t even think we’re at the full crescendo and there’s still like I said five more bucks after this one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ must read *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 5, 2022* Can’t get enough it’s like an addiction everything I have ever read by J.R. I wish more authors would include something similar in their books. It was such a great refresher, I often feel like I’m fumbling a bit to remember plot points from previous books in a series when it’s been a while since I read them.Lily is back, but fortune academy is now fortune academy underworld and almost everything has changed. For one thing, much more time has passed for everyone else who was still among the living. Calamity still threatens but it has a new, more dangerous conduit now and Lily is facing a lot of adversity from her Virtues who were left behind, albeit unwillingly, when she died.
