Works great to hold 2 kayaks (tied together) in place with moderate wind. We didn’t budge a bit using my fish finder to verify. When using any anchor system the more line you let out the stronger the hold will be, so if this isn’t holding your kayak/paddle board the solution could be as simple as letting more line out so the anchor can hold better.I’m pleased with the quality and price of this 1.5lb anchor. I also purchased a 3.5lb kit from a different vendor and I think it is too heavy for my needs. I’ll stick with the 1.5lb.
