Attached very securely. **Q: how many inches is the small monkey?** A: Sounds snotty, don't mean it that way. Comes in different sizes. Have to read what is posted in the description for it. It states the size of EACH of them. Says this is 7.5 x 2.5 x 3 inches. I WILL say it's So Soft & nice. My grandson LOVES it. **Q: What size is the small** A: Small. Medium is a perfect size. I believe the inches are noted on the individual items.
