This motor is very quiet and propels my inflatable boat perfectly. I am a very satisfied customer. We absolutely love the weed function, too!

Nice motor. Super silent operation. You'll only hear the sound of water. Use with 60ah Deep cycle or above battery. (Don't purchase above 65ah as the battery will be too heavy to carry.) Tested on old discarded 50ah car battery after fully charged i ran it on full power for 1 full hour. Fix a canopy of flexible solar panels & you'll be able to travel tension free.

Loved this little motor. I didn't actually have a proper battery so I hooked it up to an old car battery I had and it ran for over 2 hours while I ferries my 3 kids around a lake and island hopped. When we got back to shore there was still 60% battery life. The battery readout is very helpful. The 5 speed fwd and 3 backwards was amazing and I didn't really need to use the higher power. She trawls great. The motor was so easy my 11 yr old could use it. I just had to build a platform for my battery to sit on the boat but it doubled as a seat back so it was a great win.

Tried this on my Intex Mariner 4 with a 100ah LifePO4 Lithium battery. The good: - Practically noise-free and emission-free - Light-weight, so extremely portable - 5 forward and 3 reverse speeds. - Weed Escape function. Very handy in certain situations The not-so-good: - With a full load (4 passengers), even 5th gear gives you around 7-10 kms max speed, in the direction of the wind. The speed goes down considerably against the wind, which is almost the speed at which you row manually. I expected it to be a bit more sporty with the 40lb thrust. - It might be a LifePO4 battery problem, but the indicator does not show accurately. My 100ah battery was shown as only half charged and it never went up or down. Misleading. - The build is plastic, and I am not sure of the durability. Overall, an excellent choice for casual boating on safe, calm waters. P.S.: Once you fit this motor to your boat, your boat officially becomes a Pleasure Craft as defined by Transport Canada. You will have to register your boat with TC using the HIN (Haul Identification Number). Also, to operate it, the operator should obtain a driver's license called PCOC (Pleasure Craft Operator License). You will have to go through a training module, write an exam and pass in order to get it. Without these, it's unlawful to operate the craft and can be fined up to $500 if caught.
