What a great piece of kit! It fits perfectly and looks like it is great quality. It stays on very securely, but is easy to remove when needed.

it clicks into place quite nicely. Cold Steel Trail Boss is a very popular axe, and this seems to be the best fitting sheath for it. You don't want your nice sharp axe edge willy nilly bouncing around, cutting things up in storage, or in your truck bed or car trunk, or garage, etc when not in use, or in transit, so get this sheath to protect your axe and your surrounding environment. It fits nice and snug. Pretty much a must-have, a valuable investment if you have a trail boss axe. It's a well-made, well-fitting kydex sheath, good material. Very happy with it.

Wow! Kudos to the person that made this. Fits like a glove. Secure, does not come off unless you want it to. FitNfinish excellent. If you have one of these CS axes, you must get one. Now all I need is a sling for this axe.

Basic and functional
No frills, just a solid sheath. Fit is good, goes in with a nice click and I can't shake it off. -1 star as it takes a little practice to get the sheath on, but overall it does exactly what I wanted it too.

Great kydex sheath for a great axe!
I purchased the Cold Steel Trail Boss axe to carry in my vehicle for emergancies. I looked at several leather axe sheaths for it but then saw the kydex sheath that your fine company makes. I ordered it and after using it for a while I have concluded that for my puposes this is the perfect axe sheath! I have a bunch of axes, all with leather sheaths and they work OK, but this sheath is absolutely bullet proof. It can get wet with no damage and take a real beating and so you could stow this on an ATV, a pickup bed or tractor or a cold shed or barn. I will purchase more kydex for my axes in the future.

Works exactly as it should great value
I just recently purchased two trail boss axes it fits both fine it's more of a cover than a mountable sheath woth retention the trail boss is more of a very long hatchet than a axe however i highly doubt anyone out there would want to put it in thier belt and i think it would be to long for mounting on molle panel's so adding a button snap molle straps or a belt loop wouldn't improve this sheath just make for some funny pictures and complaints from a the simpletons that absolutely would think those to options are good options
