Great for sushi
We couldn’t find this locally any more so I was pleased to find it available online! We eat a lot of sushi in our house and this pairs very well with both sushi and sashimi. It’s the best soy sauce around!

Yamasa Makes the Best Soy Sauce
Yamasa makes the most delicious soy sauce that one can get at reasonable prices. I'm sure there are fancy expensive soy sauces that are even better, but this one is really fantastic. It has a clear flavor that works well as a table soy sauce but is equally at home in cooking or marinades. The bottle is plastic and was shipped in a bubble mailer. It arrived fine, but I can imagine some worse outcomes.

Really good soy sauce!
Its kinda pricey, but it is very good quality and flavor. I am about to buy another bottle. It comes in a plastic bottle, not the best, glass would have been healthier, but heavier in shipping. The red lid is a little weird, it allows too much to pour out at once. I would prefer a smaller pour spout, like you find on cheap domestic soy sauce. But other than a few packaging complaints, the sauce it self is VERY GOOD. I am about to buy another bottle in the next few weeks.

Great for shoyu ramen!
I love using this marudaizu shoyu for my tare. It is a great value if you do not want to shell out for pricier, artisan shoyu but also needing to make a large quantity of ramen stock.

Its ok.
Its OK, it has a bit of a nutural flavor and goes well with everything but does not stand out in any way and you will want that for some dishes and cooking but it tells me that if I stock this, I'll need a finishing soy also. Flavor very mild. Saltiness, light to moderate. Consistency, on the thin side. This isn't bad but lacks the flavor I want. I use Aloha as my standard soy and will go back to that brand.

Different than kikoman
A nice change from kikoman. Nice to have from time to time instead of always kikoman
