MusicNomad Premium Guitar Work Mat for Workstation, 17" x 36" (MN208)

Good size and fits all of my instruments. The surface is non-slip and appears durable. I also purchased separately a cradle cube, and the combo makes working on instruments very easy.

The product was what I expected, but the delivery was pathetically poor. Left in a rain storm, and it got soaking wet, right through the paper. It has been raining steadily here, 6/16/26, with downpours. There is an obvious open-bay garage where the package was instructed to be left for any delivery. But the deliveries are consistently left in the open where any weather has the opportunity to soak the package through and through, as was this current order. I left with Amazon's explicit instructions to leave packages in the open bay garage. Not difficult. Not a brain twister. The item is a 5-star, but the delivery is no "0" stars. Fire this driver. Although the product was rubber, it is no excuse for a customer to be treated this way.

This work mat is nice and big, making it ideal for placing your guitar on while doing string changes, setups, or general maintenance. It’s soft enough to properly protect the instrument while you’re working. It’s a simple product, but it works very well and does exactly what you want it to do. MusicNomad also have online tutorials are a great and make DIY guitar work much easier, always a great reference. Highly recommended.

I'm a huge music nomad fan. I'm slowly collecting all of the guitar tools they offer. I guess I expected something more from them. Don't get it wrong it's a simple mat, and yes it does protect your guitar from your work surface. It's not very thick, more like a big mouse pad. Yes it works perfectly but I do think there is some room for improvement. It's still better then the old towel I was using before I got this.

I bought this to use as the work station base for anything I do with my guitars. It provides a good surface to ensure the body of my guitar is protected while I work on them. I have used it while changing strings, adjusting intonation, and changing tuners. It's a good product.

This is a great pad for $15. Compare to StewMac's guitar workpad at $47 to 57!! Or Fender's at $56. This is a better mat than either of those, although those both have a plastic neck cradle. You will want to make or purchase a neck support to properly work on your guitars with this mat. You want the headstock elevated, especially if it is a headstock that angles back (like a les paul, etc.) so you don't crack the headstock or neck. This is thick enough and durable enough that unless you are really careless, it should last a long time. Like any rubber mat - don't solder over it, or you'll get metal splatters and flux splatters that will then scratch your guitars if you don't remove them (which is hard). Has been safe on all my guitar finishes, and I have a lot of different guitars...(about 30). I've had one for about a year. Those saying it's too thin, too cheap, not good quality...are just wrong. This is the best mat I've found, and I've tried a bunch of them. And it's cheap. If it's too thin...buy two, they are inexpensive. But it's really not too thin. It's fine. The length is also fine if you are using a neck support, as you should be. In fact, it is longer than the Stewmac and Fender mats. There's really nothing to dislike about this mat, except it currently can't ship into California, which might be because they can't demonstrate their supply chain does not use slave labor...not sure. Must be some regulatory issue...

I beat the crap outta this thing and it's still hold'n up (over two years), yeah I now need a couple more.

Tatsächlich nach dem ich beim großen T mich für günstig entschieden hatte, hab ich ein Upgrade gemacht. Deutlich besser.

Da consigliare assolutamente, ottimo prodotto. Lo uso per il cambio corde e la pulizia delle mia acustiche e mi permette di lavorare bene e in sicurezza. Lo conservo arrotolato in uno scaffalo e una volta disteso riprende tranquillamente forma.

La utilizo como base para mi amplificador del bajo. Perfecta. Y otra unidad como base para un deshumidificador. Absorbe la vibración y reduce el ruido.
