Let this be a lesson for you too. Start with this pair and if you can afford it, get another one. The only problem I've had is a switch failed on my first one but that was an easy fix. Quality is good. Very quiet. Life sized and lifelike appearance. For the money, this is a good ADDITION to your static decoys. Keep them stored well. I use a big plastic ammo box for the wings, stakes, and batteries but need another one to fit the actual ducks. Keep spare batteries on hand.
