This whey is absolutely worth the price. A rare find: it is high quality organic whey protein without lecithin or any other additives or preservatives, sweeteners or flavors, and is not an isolate. It is ALSO from Jersey cows with a higher A2 protein ratio, and produced with regenerative farming approaches—it doesn't get much better in the States. It also happens to taste great and blend well in smoothies! I'm super sold on this product.

Great product, arrived in good condition. I particularly appreciate the high-quality velcro seal, allowing the bag to be resealed reliably, as opposed to the ziplock-type seal that never works and easily breaks off that you get with other products in this category. It makes me think the entire production chain is similarly well-thought out.

All I wanted was plain protein powder - simple right? Nope. Because most "plain" powders have some sort of flavoring, most often boosted by one of the "natural" sweeteners. For me, all of those leave a bad taste, that lingers for hours. I am not some power-lifter or health food nut, but I make fruit smoothies/shakes and like to add protein to them. I searched high and low, did research and finally came across this product - it is PERFECT, and it is EXACTLY what I sought. I do not care if the sweeteners are "natural" or made in a lab, if they leave that aftertaste, what use are they to someone like me who is NOT willing to put up with it as some bizarre fitness/health tradeoff because "that's just the way it is...". I cannot speak to clumping issues mentioned by others, mine goes into a blender. Maybe expensive (?) but I feel extremely worth the $$ and if we have to start living in bunkers, I am taking a cart of this stuff with me!

This is by far the cleanest and most transparent brand of Whey Protein. They tell you exactly where they get it from and are 100% transparent about their processes. Sure it may be a little pricier but you get what you pay for. If you are looking for clean ingredients as far as whey protein goes, this is it. It is a neutral flavor profile, you can sweeten it however you like, it gives you that much more control. If you are looking for cheap, this isn't for you. This product is for those who care, those who want to know where their things are coming from and want to back a product that is clean and in summary, premium. Overall, still pretty affordable in my opinion.

I have purchased this 28 times and subscribed for a long time, having this every day. The last package tastes (unflavored) absolutely horrible and I gave it three chances each time having to throw out and waste a lot of other expensive ingredients. There was no way I could drink whatever they have now put in this tastes like pure chemicals or metal. Not sure what they did but they lost me as a customer no way I could take that chance again. Also, I was getting very tired of the gross dusty/sticky, cheap bag packaging that was a total mess to ever use or even try to put in another container or reseal the Velcro that is full of dusty protein.

I have been working out on and off for more than 10 years. The regular classic whey offering from Norcal is the best in my opinion. I have tried quite a few whey protein products before, but none are at the standard of Norcal Classic. I have had stomach aches and problems with all of the other whey products but I can't recall if I ever had a stomach issue with Norcal. It's quickly digested after work out and provides noticeable energy prior to work out as well. I am not be able to drink other whey proteins without it being flavored or blended, but I can drink Norcal classic with just water. It has a very neutral light milk taste. There were a few times when the flavor was off in the past few years I have been ordering from them, but they are more or less consistent. Even when the taste was off, it did not stop me from finishing the bag. My only gripe is with the plastic scooper they provide in the bag. My worry is that pieces of plastic from the scooper will find its way in the powder. I have purchased norcal whey for 4-5 years and will most likely continue to do so. I will not use any other protein powder or prepackaged drink. I would recommend this whey protein to anyone looking for a high quality protein supplement.

I bought this dry milk several times. It’s strength for me are; Digestibility, Taste and Smell.

I like the quality and appreciate that it comes from the US but I wish the packaging was different because there is loss if transferred from the zip bag. I would like a container rather than a bag.
