My daughter loves this version the most, we have two. It is a great version of the Clue game. I recommend it. **Q: Is it possible to get replacement detective notebook pad?** A: I just make copies. **Q: Is this the original game or is it different?** A: I received an email from Amazon to answer your question because I was one of 7 who had reviewed Clue - but it was many years ago. I have no idea which version you are asking about - it would have to be used, unless they've started putting out the original again. Sorry, but I can only see your question not the actual product and running a search - there are way too many versions of Clue out there. If you want the original game, original pieces, I'd say it would have to be used - the one we purchased was used and that was 8 - 10 years ago and it wasn't the 1st edition, rather the one I grew up with in the 1960's. Our daughter wanted the one I purchased back in the 70's, we knew she didn't care if it was used, just that version which back then was no longer available new.
