DEWALT DW2701 #8 Drill Flip Drive Complete Unit, yellow

Recently, I was working on some home repairs. I looked in my rolling tool box, and tool bag for my Craftsman Speed-Lok quick flip. I found the blister pack, but no tool. I own 2 DeWalt 20v cordless drill kits and 1 cordless screwdriver. I checked all 3 bags. Nope. I figured I must've loaned it and never got it back. DeWalt has become a trusted name in my tool arsenal. I quickly ordered this as a replacement. Wow! This, and another DeWalt attachment have quickly become indispensable items in my toolkit. Quality sturdy construction from a trusted name means these won't be let outta my sight. Thank You DeWalt! You really really deliver! Highly Highly Recommend!

I picked up the DEWALT DW2701 #8 Drill Flip Drive and haven't looked back. It's incredibly sturdy and the flip drive is a real game-changer – makes swapping bits a breeze. It's compact enough to fit in tight spaces, and the yellow color is surprisingly easy to spot in my toolbox.

An actual time-saving device! Enables quick swap of countersink and screwdriver bits, especially handy for work that is already off the work bench [for me so far, this includes cabinet ledgers, shelf supports, door hinges, etc.] It comes with a custom DeWalt countersink bit [replaceable $7USD] and a short Phillips head screwdriver bit with a standard hex [replaceable $5USD a dozen]. They are holding up just fine, but I'd recommend not storing this tool with the countersink bit exposed, you could break it off. The quick release is a bit counter-intuitive, as it releases in the opposite direction that I thought it would. There is no ability to modify the maximum depth of the countersink bit, but I suppose you could buy a tiny collar for the countersink bit. I use masking tape, you do you. I bought version with a #10 countersink bit. I do not know if you can swap out with other sizes [#6 or #8 countersink bits], but it looks like there is room in the body of the for longer/thinner sizes.

Posiblemente es lo mejor que he comprado, sirve excelente, buenos materiales, muy buena imagen, excelente funcionalidad, ahorra un montón de tiempo, es increíble el tiempo y fatiga que ahorras con este producto, viene con su llave, puedes cambiar la broca y la punta si es necesario, no se afloja, es magnético, 10/10. Con el paso de los dias me doy cuenta que si bien facilita el trabajo no es del todo necesario, tomen en cuenta que es un producto que añade tamaño al taladro entonces si lo usan en espacios o para proyectos pequeños piensenlo bien. a mi me srive para las guias de los tornillos en melamina y posteriormente atornillarlos sin cambiar de puntas, pero en ciertos proyectos lo veo algo innecesario

just a heads up so you don't make the same mistake as I did. acessory is and will not fit into any hex type screws/ impact gun, this is solely to be used with a drill only. I don't know how everyone in the field use their countersink bits but I like putting them in my impact screw guns for the quicker drill time snd aggressiveness when im cranking down a bunch of 3"-4" screws.

Such a handy tool - I don't know why it's not more widely available. When you're doing basic projects that require feeling a hole before placing a screw (so that the woods doesn't split) this tool saves so much time. You just flip the end from drill-bit to screwdriver, and a small magnet makes it 'click'into place. The drill bit even has a little blade that makes a countersink bevel if you drill the hole all the way to the hilt. Smart design! I have used this for years and was buying one for my contractor.

Broken - drill wont switch sides. I had to use a plier to take it out and now its broken altogether after 1 year of occasional use

I've used this particular model for over a decade now and the first ones were solid and had a smooth mechanism. This particular purchase, unless it's a knock-off, has been made of lesser quality with lighter/weaker material, feels a little cheaper and the chuck mechanism is on the rough side. It's still way better than anything else I've tried so it still gets 5 stars. I just hope that quality doesn't continue slipping.
