Worked well for what I needed it for. The legs are weak on the stand and the battery that were installed died out quickly BUT they do in include 3 additional batteries in package.

Like many of you I was looking for something that can give me a perfectly level(horizontal) and/or vertical line. Good news is that this product does deliver that function while bad news is that you would need to manually fine-tune and achieve it. I think the best way to do it is like shown in the picture: put it side way on the tripod (because the side of the device is NOT a flat surface) and then adjust it till at least the 90 degree and 180 degree bubble is both in the middle (the 45 degree bubble should also be in the middle of if these two are leveled). Then you should be able to put a cross line on the wall with both a straight horizontal and vertical line. This is the best I can come up with so far and happy to hear any better solution from others.

Total garbage. This reminds me of the kind of stuff that used to come from Japan when I was a kid - before Japan became a beacon of quality. The light is too dim to see in normal daylight. The device will switch from horizonal beam to vertical beam, and provide a crosshair, except in crosshair mode one of the two lines is way too dim to have any hope of seeing. Also, the beam width in both planes is too narrow, so in a smaller area it will not project to an entire wall. But again, if someone turns the lights on you probably won't be able to see it well anyway. This is basically garbage, a cute little toy except it's too dangerous to just give to your kids because you don't want them shining it into anyone's eyes. Oh, and the tape measure feature? Yes, it comes out, but it is not synchronized with the scale along the bottom of the level, so if something measures 5 inches into the base you can't just add that to where the base is measuring. The whole thing is just silly and I'm too tired to bother sending it back.

LOVE this laser level!! It took me a minute to figure out how to get it exactly right but it has saved me tons of time hanging my many frames. Wish I had had this 20 years ago! Lol 😂

I haven't really used this yet for it's purpose. I tried it out after it came in the mail. It looks great and works perfectly. I like how it has a measuring tape, ruler, a leveler. The kickstand is a bonus, great multifunction tool.
