Will this fit the 5th gen ipod classic 30 gig. One reviewer says it will not. Description says it will, which is the right answer?

I'd say maybe but not likely. If the classic 80 is bigger it might work, my ipod with this case had bout an 1/8 inch gap, wouldn't even clip together. Not an answer but hope it helps.

My classic 80gb did not fit - not even close. 1/8" gap I'd say, so if the 30 is that bit smaller it might work. I returned two cases & yet to find one that works.

The case is split in halves and snaps over the iPod .... Therefore, you can use your fingers where the inputs are to unsnap it when you want the case off

What about 5th gen 160 gb?

? What bout it - I ordered this case for my classic 80 ipod, did not fit. 1/8 inch gap I think. So double the I bet not going to work.
