This is a really nice set of graduated graphite pencils. I use them for sketching watercolor sketches. Nice quality pencils in a handy storage box.

I bought the school pack to split with my wife, who is a semi-professional graphic designer and illustrator. The erasers in the set are great, but right now they are around $20-25 for a pack of 30. You can get them easily independently, so the value in this kit is coming from the pencils and the sharpeners. The sharpeners are also great, and they are more difficult to find in packs. This would be great for schools/classrooms, but the average person doesn't need that many small sharpeners. The pencils are a very nice student-grade, a step down from the FC 9000s. However, they are more than sufficient for most fine art and illustration tasks. They are pre-sharpened but in very rough fashion (see photos). A pass through a sharpener tightens them up. In use, I find them to be a little on the harder side. This is not a bad thing, as they retain their point well. This allows for nice hatching and line work. I'd like to see an HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B, and 10B in the kit but oh well. I'm generally not a fan of the hexagonal barrel as I find it less comfortable, but the pencils are very very lightweight and that makes them easy to use. Just make sure that the current price is a discount from buying it all separately.
