Best heavy-duty belt
I first purchased this belt from a hardware store and was very impressed with the stiffness and quality of the belt but the buckle was lacking. The tangs on the buckle were very smooth like it had already been used for several years. When you close any quick release buckle it should produce a crisp loud "click". This belt produced a low thud. I returned it. I purchased another "heavy duty" belt from another company, the buckle was great but the belt was very soft and rolled inside my drill holster. I returned it. I thought I would give this belt another try and hopefully the newer (and hopefully improved) belt would have a better buckle, really glad I did. These belts are very stiff and hold their shape under heavy loads, even when I carry my Ridgid high torque half inch impact gun in my No Cry holster. The buckle is solid and will not fail. I purchased two of these (one for my better half) and paired with my Tough Built suspenders, (highly recommend) I think they will last a lifetime.

Great tool belt.
Love my new tool belt. Nice and wide and hold my kit. Wrap it around my pants at the belt area and stay in place. Was very stiff when received. Took a little time to lengthen the belt to fit. Material is very stiff. Note this is nylon not cotton. After getting it adjusted I took some duct tape, two pieces. and wrapped the excess area to keep it in place. May need to adjust belt size later. Buckle is plastic, but seems heavy duty enough for homeowner use. So far so good. Note pic shows belt brand new. I keep the belt haning which has already strectched it out a little so it is not so stiff.

Good but can't use
I give this four stars not because it is of poor quality, because it looks very durable. It is so sturdy that it is uncomfortable to wear. We use it to hold dog food in a bag for training purposes, and our clothing does not protect from the stiff quality of the belt. Probably a workman who is wearing canvas or heavy denim trousers would find it works just fine. Did not return it because it is so reasonably priced, it would cost too much to send it back. We will either give it away or find a different use for it.

Perfect belt for my pouches
Exactly perfect for my custom tool pouch arrangement. Very positive connection. Be careful not to get pinched.

Updated review from “junk” to “ok”
May 2021- Clasp does not hold. Seems as if constructed wrong. Plastic “teeth” on buckle end don’t fully engage into clasp. Belt falls off with the slightest movement and I only have a dog treat bag attached. Contacted seller over a month ago instead of immediately giving a bad review. They promised to send a replacement. Weeks later, I contacted them again and was told, the item is backordered and was expected end of month. Haven’t heard any more- still waiting. It’s now too late for me to return via Amazon. Guess you get less than what you pay for. July 17, 2021- finally got the promised replacement in the mail. The clasp on this one is working so far (day 1). It was nice to hear that “click” when I put it on. Hoping the clasp holds up for a while. Like that it can be adjusted and belt material is quite sturdy ( maybe a bit too stiff) . Am increasing my rating to 3*. Might have been a 4, but their quality control should not have let the first one through and the replacement took almost 2 months.

Good value
First I bought this belt about two years ago. At that time I did not write a review, but now that I have just ordered a second belt for a different holster I figured it was past time. OK: I ordered this based on it being 2 inches wide. As seen in the photo I have an old safariland holster from about 1985. It was part of my sam brown duty belt that was 2 1/4 inches wide, and thick leather(as is the holster, & pouch). The belt has long ago gone into "no way I am going to wear that today(retired)" mode. I also did not want a modern heavy or tactical type belt as I no longer carry all that weight(Really heavy stuff). Anyway this belt fit, was light, but held my old .45(hey really beat the old .38 special) just fine. Has held up well. This photo was taken today again after over two years of use. And I will repeat have just ordered a second for a newer pistol, & holster. I expect continued happy usage with both.

homeowners good buy
Quality, comfort, price, the one thing I am skeptible about is the plastic buckle, it works fine for now, but I wonder how long it will last, I wish it was metal. I will only be using it with 5 or 6 pounds of weight on it and the plastic is heavy duty so it should last a long time.

A very basic economy grade work belt.
This work belt from Custom LeatherCraft is about 2” wide, and is made of heavy duty nylon webbing. It has a large quick release plastic clip, and the length is adjustable up to about 46”. The web material is quite stiff, so it should maintain its form and be able to support the weight of most tool pouches, and also provide a suitable gripping surface for most clip-on accessories. If the timing is good, you might be able to buy this for four or five dollars, which seems to be a fair price for what is a very basic economy grade work belt. If the cost is much higher, you might want to look at something else.

Not sure if the buckle would stand up to day in and out use. Occasional use this is great for the price.
