A Game Changer for 3D Printing
As an avid 3D printing enthusiast, I've tried numerous adhesion solutions over the years, but none have matched the performance of Bed Weld Original, which is now my go-to solution for stopping warping etc. Pros: Strong Grip: This adhesive provides a robust bond between the print bed and the filament, significantly reducing the chances of warping or detachment during printing. Versatility: Compatible with a wide range of filaments, including ABS, PLA, ASA, and PETG, making it a one-stop solution for various printing needs. Easy Application: The bottle is easy to apply, and a little goes a long way, ensuring long-term use without frequent reapplications. Cons: Initial Odour: Upon first application, there is a slight odour, but it dissipates quickly and doesn't affect the print quality. Final Thoughts: If you're looking to improve print adhesion and reduce warping issues, Bed Weld Original is a must-have addition to your 3D printing toolkit. Its strong grip and compatibility with various filaments make it an invaluable asset for both beginners and seasoned professionals.

Easy to use and long lasting
Great stuff, far more effective and less messy than other adhesion tricks I've tried. Goes on easily with the foam applicator. Seems to last well so worth the cost in my opinion

This stuff is amazing
I completely sware by this stuff. It makes printing has abs and apsolute doddle. I put it over the top of smooth pei and it just works... Go easy with it as if it's too thick it will come off with the print and it will make the bottom all sticky. Well until washed that is. I say sticky it's not it's just the moisture on your fingers making it tacky. Just wash it off. Wipe it off whatever it's fine. I'm pretty sure it's just PVA but I use this and it works so why reinvent the wheel if it works...

Great product, worth every penny.
This is brilliant, been using it for months, no failed prints due to adhesion to bed.

Great adhesive for large flat parts
Best adhesive for my large build plate, bed warping a thing of the past.

Works great.
Comparable to magigoo. Read the instructions and set your heated bed accordingly.

Completely Useless – Worst Bed Adhesive I’ve Ever Used
I honestly cannot understand how this product is rated or sold as a “strong grip” 3D printer adhesive, because it does not work at all. I purchased 3D Printer Adhesive Glue – Bed Weld Original specifically to improve bed adhesion and reduce warping for ABS, ASA, PLA, and PETG, but it failed on every single attempt. Adhesion was so poor that prints lifted almost immediately, even on a properly heated build plate. For context, I am printing on a Bambu Lab P2S, a very capable and well-calibrated printer. The issue is absolutely not my printer, settings, or filament. To prove this, I switched back to Pritt Original glue stick from ASDA, which performed significantly better in every way. A cheap household glue stick outperformed this so-called “professional” 3D printing adhesive without any issues. Because of this product, I have: Wasted an entire day of printing time Ruined multiple filaments due to failed prints and warping Lost confidence in a print job that should have been simple The product claims to provide strong grip and reduce warping, but in real-world use it does neither. If anything, it made adhesion worse than printing with no adhesive at all. This is hands down the worst-performing bed adhesive I have ever used. I would strongly advise not to buy this product, especially if you value your time, filament, or print reliability. Stick with Pritt or any basic glue stick — they work better and cost far less. Extremely disappointed. Would not recommend under any circumstances.

more or less hold well but not as well for those really push to the limit
somehow for slightly larger print out around 100x100.. it still can hold it to the bed well.. however, for really large print such as about 200x200, for the prusa printer that we have, ABS still does not hold well on the corner for 200x200

Great adhesion on glass build plates
I've previously been using glue sticks or hairspray for adhesion when printing on glass build plates. While both options work, they are messier, don't always provide consistent adhesion, and can leave an unwanted finish on the bottom of prints (requiring cleaning and/or sanding). The LAYERNEER bed weld is a fantastic product! Here's what I like about it: - The sponge applicator prevents too much product from coming out and makes it very easy to apply the product only where needed. - After applying and allowing the product to dry (dries by the time the bed is heated), the dried product is clear and leaves a smooth (nearly invisible) layer on top of the print bed. - Since the product dries smooth, there's no chance it will cause imperfections on the bottom of the prints (like chunky glue sticks often do). - The product is water soluable, so it's easy to clean off the build plate with hot water. While not required, a small dab of dish soap adds some lubrication and makes washing easier. - The cap securely twists onto the top of the bottle to protect the foam applicator and keep the product from drying out. - One layer is good for 5-10 prints. LAYERNEER states a wet sponge can be used to recharge the bed weld, but I haven't tried that yet. - While washing the build plate will always yield the best results, I'm able to reapply additional layers of bed weld (as needed) a few times before washing the build plate. Some tips for success: - Check out the image LAYERNEER included in the product description for a list of build plates this product works best with. There are a lot of low star reviews here where customers mention they are using build plates that are not on the suggested list (like textured build plates). - Apply the product when the bed is at room temperature. - Shake the bottle for about 5 seconds before applying. There is a ball inside of the bottle (like in a can of spray paint) that helps mix the product. - Press the sponge applicator straight down until it bottoms out on the build plate to allow the product to moisten the sponge applicator. And then lightly brush the sponge applicator acrosss the build plate to distribute the product where needed (wherever the parts will be placed). - Wait for the product to air dry before printing if not using a heated bed. If using a heated bed, the product will be dry by the time the bed reaches the target temperature. - After a print has completed, wait for the bed to cool down to room temperature for easier/cleaner removal. I've been 3D printing (mostly on glass build plates) since 2015. The LAYERNEER bed weld is the best product I've used so far. My only disappointment is that it took me this long to find a product that consistently works well. I'll definitely be purchasing LAYERNEER bed weld again in the future (use Subscribe & Save to save 15%).
