good addition to the LCR tweezers.
Purchased primarily to simplify an assembly of pilot run and prototype devices with SMD LEDs, although found quite useful for troubleshooting and repairing of multi-LED backlight assemblies for partially burned out or open LEDs.The tweezers allow to set testing current (which makes possible to cast out individual LEDs by brightness, for the instance) and show voltage drop on the component (helps to find suspiciously out-of-range re-emitting "white" (but actually infrared) LEDs) . Having these features in one separate compact unit instead of building contraption out of PSU and multimeter just make such tasks easier or at least save time. Also, tweezers' probing current polarity seems bi-directional - it's able to tell which electrode is landed on cathode and which on anode of LED (works fancy on bi-directional two-color LED assemblies, but it's different story :))
