NEEWER Photography Lighting kit with Backdrops, 8.5x10ft Backdrop Stands, UL ...

I love these lights. I take photos of clothing for my business, and these do the job well. Very good value for the cost. The lights sometimes seem a bit too bright for what I use them for, but the color is a nice, bright white. They're what you think of when someone says "professional lighting." I've been able to catch flaws on clothing items with these that I otherwise could not see. If you're using these to take photos or videos of people, these do a great job at lighting up the space. They aren't difficult to set up or disassemble and don't take up too much room. I've had to move locations with these and they pack up well with the bag these lights come with. Other lights I've tried come with USB plug-ins, but these come with classic power cords for the wall, which was also a huge plus for me.

I was skeptical (despite good reviews) about this purchase when it first arrived. Having set it up and using it, I can say that it's a great piece of kit! The only draw back were the included lights, but that's not a big deal. They include 4 CFL light bulbs that tend to washout the subject (even with a diffuser). So I simply replaced them with color changing LED lights and haven't looked back. I can color-grade my subjects (to a degree!) before filming or photographing them to help save time in post-production and editing. It's amazing what color changing lighting can provide without the need for color gels/diffusers! This is such an impressive kit for the price, it's full of the necessities required for properly lighting and filming/photographing your subjects indoors. It comes with two separate bags. One bag is for the backdrop mounts, the poles required for hanging the backgrounds, and tripods to mount the backgrounds to. The second bag is for your background cloths (included are: black, white, green), tripods for the softbox lights, two softbox lights, two umbrella lights and mounting clamps, 4 CFL light bulbs, and 8 clamps for the backdrops. Impressive and it's massively easy to coordinate set up with another person, or to set it up alone. Let me be clear, it's not a $3000 set up, so don't fool yourself into thinking it will perform as such. However, the price for this kit is well worth it and it is something that help your videos or pictures "pop" that much more. For a beginner, this is a perfect gateway into photography and filming and it will make a difference in what you're filming or photographing. Easily 5 stars and I highly recommend it for others.

I occasionally need some controlled diffused lighting and these seemed like a good choice. The stands and reflectors are fine and should last well enough with some care. They fold up compactly but I'll store them in a plastic storage container they are, at least for myself, more convenient than the zippered pouches. Plus they are stackable and labelable. For an occasional user, I wish someone would allow the reflector to be folded without removing the bulb. The bulb socket feels ceramic so that's good, but I did have to bend the center pin up a bit to make contact with the center contact of the bulb. Minor point but you might check this (unplugged, of course) if your light does not work. The lights themselves are fine. 5700k is a tad on the cool side of pure white. Personally I like the warmer side but my camera has the ability to set the white balance to 5700k and the results seem fine. General color rendition is good but I feel like the greens are a tad muted. Again, just my personal observation and preferences. On the plus side, a sequence of 1/8000-second photos produced very closely exposed images indicating a these lights are reasonably flicker free. No banding has been seen on video. And when the power is switched off, the light fades out suggesting a large capacitor to filter the power to reduce flicker. Light output is fair. Sure, a longer shutter speed is always there. What I ended up doing is buying two more matching LED bulbs and using light bulb splitter adapters doubled the light output. This was a good move has it reduced my shutter speed and gives me options to place the lights further away. So, if you will need these occasionally, these would be fine with care. If you are going to set them up and leave them up, you'll probably be good. Everyday setup and take downs by a travelling photographer, well, you'll just have to take really good care of them. And don't forgot about the double light idea. BT recommended with care

I've recently purchased the Neewer Light Kit, and overall, I find it to be a great value for the cost. The quality of the lights themselves is quite impressive, providing excellent brightness and versatility for various photography and videography needs. They have a professional feel and deliver consistent lighting, which is crucial for my work. However, there is one aspect that could use improvement: the supporting legs. They tend to feel a bit flimsy and less sturdy than I would prefer. While they get the job done, they don't inspire a lot of confidence in terms of stability, especially in more demanding setups or environments. Despite this, the Neewer Light Kit remains a solid choice for anyone looking for good-quality lighting on a budget. It's functional, reliable, and offers great value for its price. If Neewer could enhance the sturdiness of the supporting legs, this kit would be nearly perfect.

Good quality with easy setup. Works great for portrait photography with digital camera. The carrying case is a great convenience and appears well made. Easy to cary and transport.Incredible value! I wish light intensity was adjustable, but if it was that would change color balance.

como fotógrafo aficionado, lo considero un kit de inicio bastante completo a las necesidades, llego en perfectas condiciones. En cuanto a las medidas esta mas que perfecto para un cuarto de tamaño medio (podría decirse que incluso parece mas grande) , aun así cumplen con la función y estoy mas que satisfecho. El armado no es problema, en unos 30 minutos tendrás todo el equipo levantado y listo para poder sacar esas tomas que tanto deseas. si de igual forma deseas este kit, considero comprarlo con un tripie para mayor apoyo en el estudio (considero que un estudio en casa esta igual de bien, depende de las necesidades). Wonderful light for small space. Easy to set up and bright enough. So bright I only get to use one lamp for my home studio. If I goto bigger studio then I will use two lamps.

Neewer siempre tiene una exelente calidad y este set no es la excepción, aunque el empaque grande rectangular bace todo muy a fuerzas y al final se rompió un cierre después de 3 meses de uso, además la tela negra es muy delgada y se transparenta, las telas tiene muy marcados los pliegues y se tienen que planchar siempre (algo que es usual pero en este caso de igual forma se llegan a notar arrugas después del planchado), por lo que recomiendo guardar las telas de otra forma que no sea dobladas, los difusores de los softbox igual tiene muy marcados los pliegues pero no interfiere en nada con la foto. Es muy pesado por lo que tiene que transportarse entre varias personas. Pero pese a todo es excelente el producto y se pueden lograr varias cosas muy buenas con el set, esta totalmente recomendado para principiantes.

Made my videos and pictures so much brighter with better visuals. The difference is stark and I’m wondering why I haven’t gotten it all along.
