NICKA K Vivid Matte Lipstick NMS07 Black

I bought the Vivid Matte Lipstick in Violet Red and of all the dark reds I've tried, this is my absolute FAVORITE. In color, it's a very dark, deep red with a bit of almost a brown. There is no orange--this is a blue-based red that's highly pigmented and dark. I've never seen any other brand come close to this shade. It's my favorite. It looks great alone or with a layer of gold, copper, or red gloss over it. Remember, though, this is lipstick. It's not that long-wearing paint that dries on your lips and lasts for hours. It's lipstick. It will smear. To set it, you may want to blot it once with a tissue, maybe dust with a hint of powder very lightly. If you want the staying power of a 12 hour lip color without reapplying, this may not be what you're looking for, however, I've never found this color in any of those, plus those feel like latex paint on the lips. I stick with lipstick, and the violet red is my fave.

NICKA K Vivid Matte Lipstick NMS11 Sea Green offers good coverage and color. It doesn't dry out the lips and deposits a lot of green, instead of just providing a greenish tint like some other brands. It lasts a reasonable amount of time, and the tube is small enough to keep in a purse or pocket for touch-ups. It's a good value for its price.

The packaging is subtle and simple. The matte finish had scraped off in a few areas because it doesn’t come in a box, so before it was bagged at Amazon it likely got beat up. I appreciate that the packaging is color coded. There is a green stripe on the product. I wish more companies did that. When I first opened the lipstick, the first thing I noticed was the smell. It is slightly fruity, but not overwhelming. I enjoy the scent, even as someone who is sensitive to smells. It’s noy overly sweet, which I like. Also not too citrusy. Just very bright and fresh. When I first tried to apply the lipstick, it was dry and harsh. However, when I wiped off the tip, the underneath was smooth and soft. The lipstick comes with glitter on the tip, and I think that is why it was dry feeling. Once you wipe the glitter off it’s got a nice texture. I like the shape of the lipstick, it comes slightly concave curved which is good for larger lips. The color is also pretty accurate to the picture on this post. On its own, the lipstick is not transfer proof, full coverage, or long stay. I can understand the coverage being patchy because lips are the opposite color to it, but I still wish the lipstick was nicer. When I tried to layer the lipstick up more to get better coverage, it just got cakey. I also tried it with a primer, and it had the same results. Overall, I would not say this is a good lipstick. It is bad at the one thing it is supposed to do, which is be a lipstick. However because it is the only green lipstick I have found, and it is still better quality than seasonal Halloween store makeup (the worst), I will give it a 4/5 stars. It doesn’t have competition.

I bought this lipstick because I liked the color. I was surprised that it smells like berries when I first opened it, and the color is true to the photo. Otherwise, this isn't the best lipstick I've ever bought. It doesn't apply very easily and has a sticky texture. It also clumps up in the seams of my lips and the corner of my mouth, and it seems to wear of quickly. If you breathe on it before applying, it softens it a little, but I've had lipstick that doesn't need that. In all an okay product, but I won't buy this brand again.

Perfect !!!! I love this color . It looks dark but its not its matte. U can apply gloss after it. Love this color

i will add a photo later but this is the worst green lipstick i own :( i've been looking for a particular shade since i am a cosplayer and want the right color to match my contacts and nails, and while the color looks perfect in the actual tube, it applies terribly. there is no color concentration and it is so splotchy, and smells like a fusion of play-doh and sour apple candy. it doesn't stay on very long and no matter how thoroughly and cleanly you apply, it looks like you just made out with slimer from ghostbusters. put the $5 to a nyx lipstick instead. really bummed out by the lack of quality 😭

Bought for Wicked for good movie. It was a hit. Easy to apply and long lasting. Many compliments.

I really liked this. The first coat is kind of translucent so you have to go over a few times and build it up. Once it's there though, it looks great. It's a little drying, like with most mattes, but it looks super pretty and you are not going to have to keep reapplying. I've worn it out to a couple of events now and have not had to reapply at all. It's has a subtle sweet kind of berry smell. I've been wanting a black for so long and I almost dropped $20 on one! I'm glad I waited a bit and decided to give this one a try.

This can be the make or break for a costume, and it really made it for Halloween this year, it's easy to apply, doesn't have a bad smell to it, and looks really good!

The Colour is just amazing especially on my Dark skin tone,bought this last year for the first time due to the brand MAC running out of my usual colour,Bye Bye MAC I’m sticking to this.
