Works well...but be careful.
Yes...this thing gets HOT. If you are going to rely on the included rest to put this thing down, do yourself a favor and make sure the rest is secured to your work surface, otherwise, the usb charging wire might cause the iron to pull itself off your work area....that can be a problem. You've got a few heads to choose from, so be picky with what you are using it for. You can create more problems than solutions if you choose the wrong head. This thing will eat right through material faster than you think it will.UNPLUG WHEN NOT USING!!! I cannot stress safety enough when using a tool like this. Do not just rely on the switch to control the power....UNLPUG IT. It is far too easy to mistakenly hit the on button, or forget you have it on, so please, if you're not using it, unplug it.

worked very well, only for light cleaning up of plastic parts.
The product worked very well, but was underpowered for what i was trying to achieve.Applied to much pressure and force to the tip and broke the heating element. Was only designed for light 3D plastic printing cleaning up.

Great for beginners
This is great for beginners. I do have concerns about the how long it will last. I will post an update after using it for another month.

Gets way too hot.
I've been using it on ABS & ASA. And it's still to hot. I need to keep turning it on and off to keep the temp down, which is pretty annoying.
