HSU Aluminum Tripod Mount Adapter for GoPro, Hero 13/12/11/10/9/8/7/6/5/4/3 Action Camera Monopod Mount with Thumbscrew (Black)

The metal mount is unsurprisingly much more robust than the usual plastic ones - my original plastic one snapped hence needing a replacement. Some have said the metal does not flex enough to give a good grip but I found it tightened fully to give a rock solid mount for my GoPro 7.

I have a small "proper" GoPro tripod but its quite limited. The main issue is that the camera has very limited tilt/pan ability when fixed - so its great for a straight ahead shots and the GoPro useful tripod is a really great way to hold it easily in your hand but t's quite limited for setting up static shots etc I also have a "proper" tripod suitable for an SLR for example and a small Amazon basics flexible tripod for my phone and wanted to use my GoPro with these - hence I bought this HSU Aluminium Tripod Mount Adapter There are a lot of these GoPro tripod adaptors on Amazon but this stood out as potentially a better example as its machined from aluminium rather than from moulded plastic - lets be honest a GoPro is quite expensive and saving a few pounds on a piece of plastic doesn't really make sense So you can get something cheaper (but not a lot) - and this is really well made - its quite heavy and the quality of the machining is high It comes with a spanner to tighten the screw but this was not needed - it held the camera very well just finger tight and has given me what I wanted which is to use my GoPro on a standard tripod Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent product, sturdy and well made. I replaced my cheap plastic version with this one and could not be happier. Holds my GoPro nice ad secure and fits perfectly on my manfrotto pixie mini tripod great.

Excellent bit of kit for my Go-Pro. Quality build feels strong and allows connection to my non-Go-Pro mount on my motorcyle.

Beautifully engineered device that belies it's price. Everything about is solid and faultless in finish and build quality - I'm really impressed, however... ...solidity is it's downfall. You really need the spanner (supplied) to tighten up the clamp action. This is ridiculous considering that most photo/video fittings just need thumbscrews by themselves to tighten. Even spannered the camera can still be easily moved on the clamp. Ironically, I'm now looking for a plastic version of this device as this HSU really doesn't work for me - and save me from carrying a spanner. Yet another Amazon purchase binned.

Tenía mucha duda sobre este adaptador 1/4, y si en verdad apretaba lo suficiente debido a la rigides del aluminio y he de comentarles hermanitos que fue todo lo que esperaba estéticamente es muy bello, de un material sólido y viene con su llave para apretar el tornillo por lo que me siento confiado al andar trallendo mi gopro 10 en cualquier lado, lo super recomiendo !!!

J'ai trop cassé de support GoPro en plastique. Surtout en travaillant dans le froid... Depuis que je suis passé à des supports en métal cela m'a changé la vie. Ça ne bronche plus... Pour le serrer il y a une petite clé bien pratique qui ne me quitte plus... Bien pratique quand on bosse avec des gants ou qu'on a lesdoigts gelés !!

I needed this adapter to mount my camera onto my microphone stand and it works great. It feels solid, holds the camera securely, and the color looks really nice too. Simple, well made, and does exactly what it should.

Nice quality product. So much better than the cheap plastic ones I’ve used in the past to mount a go pro. Tights down a lot better and then the camera won’t move at all
