It has a small stand to hold the iron up, it has a good sized end to hold while curling so you won't get burned. It shuts off on it's own if you forget to. Very well made and high quality. I love the ceramic barrel and it has a swivel cord so you don't get tangled up. I would expect such a great iron to cost double what I paid. It worked on my hair with ease and on the middle setting, if you turn it on the highest temperature it gets extremely hot. I have wave slightly thin hair and the middle setting was perfect and it works fast. Love it! Don't hesitate just buy it and don't waste money on an iron that can be double or even triple the cost!

I have used various curling irons in my life. Some just do not clamp my hair right. Im sure its a personal preference. I am not paying $50 to $100 on something like this. I think this is perfect pressure. Gets hot quickly. Can set the temperature as needed. Long enough cord that rotates. No tangles. Just the right weight.

Almost like my old one. I would give it 5 stars except it is too easy to accidentally turn it off due to the placement of the on/off button. Still, it is a good value for the money. It heats up rapidly.
