Thorough, but Not a great quick reference
Comprehensive almost to a fault. Includes a lot of background information that might be more than you’re looking for when reaching for a surgical text

Ordered and paid for a new copy, received an obviously use set of 2 of the volumes. They were outside of their packaging and had very dented corners.
