It is a rather shallow introduction to each of these principles. Really just sufficient to understand and apply said principles in a useful way. Many of these principles could take a decade to master, but that's where this book becomes useful. While it would take a long time to master, it only takes a few minutes to apply to a lesser extent. Just sufficient to substantially improve a project, product, or user interface, for instance.
