Felt like a good quality controller. I would definitely recommend this to someone who has a Saturn or Pc

Overall quite the impressive replica . The dpad is 95% the way there but a touch softer and not as tactile. The triggers are fine ,but not using mouse clicks feels a touch off. The face buttons are pretty good. Physically the controller feels exactly like the originals. It's fairly light just like the originals and It does rattle but so do the originals

The molds may be the Saturn originals but the plastic used in them could be thicker. Otherwise, very few complaints. This is the classic (and in my opinion, best looking) Japanese Saturn controller with much-appreciated wireless functionality and a couple extra buttons. Works splendidly on PC with all the buttons you'd hope for from a retro pad, but surprised me with how well it works for the Switch too. It's still plug-and-play and works splendidly for D-pad-favoured games with all the buttons you'd hope for, but it's also got the ability to swap the pad to a left or right analog stick interpret, meaning you're not out of luck for D-pad-forward games that occasionally require a stick input or if you truly want to use a D-pad to play modern 3D games. As a longtime Sega fan, the only way I could be happier would be if it was made of sturdier plastic. It's quite light and the shoulder buttons especially feel a little unsatisfying.

The original model design of the Sega Saturn controller is still one of the easiest to use and most comfortable controllers ever produced. It may be an "outdated", made-for-2D style controller but if you're buying it, that's already something you know and expect. What makes it so great is that it is still more comfortable to hold than almost any other pad around, subjectively, of course but a fairly popular opinion among players. The only issue is that, while entirely functional, the A, B, & C buttons seem to have a "sweet spot" in order to register a clean click and otherwise sometimes feel dead. I'm sure most people familiar will know what I mean. But not to be misunderstood, the buttons still work and don't stick, they just don't feel the same or as good as the Sega-made original. Also, the shoulder buttons are a bit too wobbly, I'm my opinion and also when compared to the original. Still a great controller and well worth the price considering the great packaging and the 2 separate adapters that come with it. The adapters allow wireless connection to both the Saturn as well as other gaming devices with a native-port adapter and USB A adapter, respectively.

Bought this for a Japanese Saturn and played through the entirety of Shining Holy Ark without a single interruption. Couldn't recommend it more!

Had version 1 and worked fine until broke shoulder button. Brand new version 2 and it doesn’t connect right away and it shows it's connected but nothing works. I got it working once and then next time it's not working. Waste of money

I’m and avid retro gaming collector and never thought repro’s could hold any weight to the original both presentation and performance… Until Now! When retrobit announced this controller I was excited and entered a giveaway but didn’t win. I’m a big fan of this color because it was the original Japan variant and when I saw they released it I was curious and had high standards and expectations. It did not disappoint the quality of the controller is on par with the original. The buttons are responsive especially the Dpad which makes it easier for me to perform my skills when playing Virtua Fighters or King of Fighters. The two receivers are a nice tough and I experienced hardly any lag or latency, I don’t do Bluetooth controllers just because for wireless I’m more of a purist and prefer 2.4 ghz. Great way to play my large Saturn collection wirelessly.

I love these controllers. They work great, look as good as the original model 2 pads, and I've had zero issues with the 3 I now own. One thing I'd LOVE to see though is a grey/blue one to match the original Japanese Model 1 Saturn that I own. Retrobit seem to have done all the other colours - white, black, clear to match the 'this is cool' system, and a clear blue one, which matches the Mega Drive 6 button controller. If anyone from Retrobit reads this, PLEASE do a grey/blue and I will happily buy yet another lol.

Looks great and comes with very attractive packaging but the controller is light and rattles terribly. The buttons are loose and feel awful. Instant regret as soon as I unboxed it.
