What nsf certifications does this have exactly? i do not see listed on nsf site for having 401 or 473. aquasana response only please.

The AQ-MF-1 is independently tested and certified to NSF standards by IAPMO. You can find the certificates on the IAPMO Product Listing website under file numbers: WP-10706 for NSF 42, WP-10707 for NSF 53 which now includes PFOA/PFOS, WP-11684 for NSF P473-2016, and WP-12506 for NSF/ANSI 401-2017a.

I can use this and skip the extra faucet? Enough filtered water to get through hand washing, dishwashing etc?

If you mean you want to connect the cold water line of your kitchen faucet to this filter, then Yes. However, the filter is going to severely reduce the flow of cold water. You're going to find that extremely annoying. Additionally, having so much water filtered (not just for drinking but also for your handwashing, food washing, dishwashing) means your filter is going to get clogged sooner. You're going to have to buy/replace this filter several times a year instead of just twice a year.

Will this filter remove trihalomethane?

Yes. The performance data sheet indicates that this filter removes 95% of four substances listed as trihalomethanes (THMs) - bromodichloromethane, bromoform, chloroform, and chlorodibromomethane.
