Excellent device for those who don’t want to harm our insect eating friends but who also struggle to live too closely to them. My wife would opt to squash them - I know the human race becomes extinct without them so we should regard them with a bit more respect. This device helps us reach a happy medium.

Works as advertised, I've grabbed many big spiders and placed them outside with this. Very low stress actually catching them, as i just trap it first with the bristles then grab to move it! The quality of the item is great for its price, you would not need a crazy sturdy build for something you will used for 30seconds at a time. It looks okay, but again for something you are keeping in storage 99% of the day (nicely folded) you will not need this to be glamorous! I do not see this item breaking due to the nature of its usage. The only reason I would give 4 instead of 5 stars is because personally I would prefer that I dont have to press the trigger to grab, i would rather press to release so that i can relax while the spider is in the brush! Just a preference of mine

Bought this for my friend's family who are all arachnophobic but I myself never had issues with lil crawlies, so I bought this for them whenever I'm not around to clear the bugs for them! From what I've heard from them so far it's great! It doesn't hurt the lil creatures caught and makes catching and releasing easy for people who don't wanna be too close! I tried it myself before I gave it to them to make sure it works and it's both easily assembled, easy to use and easy to store! Great stuff, hopefully others who don't wanna kill the creatures can get these and be able to deal with removing them easily!

Love it ! I would never hurt a spider and it’s been perfect for my class ! Show them not to Stamp on them 🫣 and gently pick them up and pop them outside …got one for the classroom And one for home 🕷️

Want to give it 2.5 stars. It can work on small bugs somtimes. I doesn't seem to word on small spiders, but it may be that they are too small for the catcher to hold propley. The reason for the 3 thoug is that the handle presser used to open the catcher is very stiff and makes it hard to actually use at times.

Love this item, because I’d never kill a spider or any bug for that matter. It can safely and humanely help you catch all bugs and insects even the ones that seem so fragile. The long handle lets you transport them to safety without you fearing for your life! Please purchase one instead of reaching for the Vacuum!

Arrived in pieces. Managed to get the bottom section (with the bristles) connected together again, but the bristles do not close fully at the open end, so they'll never keep a spider caught in a million years. Cannot get handle back together again so the handle and the spring don't work properly. Biggest pile of rubbish I've ever bought on Amazon. I bought this because my current catcher, which is over 10 years old, has damaged bristles. This was a replacement, but is worse than the one I am trying to replace. This has gone straight into the bin because it arrived broken, cheap and flimsy, and is totally not fit for purpose. And it is not worth my time, energy, and money, to return it. Won't be buying anything from this source again.

This spider catcher is really simple to use! If you're a scientist and have used a spatula before you'll find this catcher to be pretty much identical to that piece of apparatus! My bedroom was crawling with a whole family of spiders and unfortunately, I've got to say this catcher doesn't really work at all against small spiders :(. But against medium to big spiders, it works like a charm! Sometimes, the catacher doesn't catch the spiders (no pun intended!) and you have to play a little bit of cat and mouse with the spider until you actually catch it! So cover every single part of your body if you're really scared of spiders! Another great thing is that its handle is quite long so you don't even need to get close to those little buggers :) Overall, a great product, but if you have small spiders bothering you, you're better off using a vacuum cleaner!
