This assorted tea pack was a lot of fun! And tasty, every one of them.

Ordered this sampler a few months ago. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors. All of them are strong in flavor and the aromas are nice. I was surprised that some of the teas came in rolled up balls, but I didn't notice any difference in quality vs a local loose leaf tea that I bought. I generally like black teas and this was a great way to try different types of chai. The flavor is strong enough that you can resteep for a second cup and get a slightly less flavorful cup of tea. If you're on your last tea leaves for a specific sampler, that may be a good idea for you. My favorites were the original chai, earl grey, saffron, assam, and the cardamom. The fennel and turmeric I didn't like as much, but my friend did so she had no problem finishing them. I liked the rest of the flavors, also, and I have yet to try the Kashmiri Kahwa but I bet it will be great. This is a great gift for tea lovers or people who want to try different chai flavors. For what you get, the price is worth it. I plan on ordering the earl grey chai again. Pros: - Strong and deep flavor - Smooth - Nice aroma - Great variety - Good sampler to start with and be exposed to flavors - Very fast shipping - Tea came in a large sealed bag, with smaller sealed bags containing the separate teas. It kept the tea leaves nicely. - Each tea envelope had instructions on how much to add, how long, and what temperature water to use. It's nice because I'm fairly new to steeping loose leaf teas. Cons: - On the pricier end but worth it - If you really enjoy the tea you'll go through the samplers fast Make sure you like strong teas before you order this, or you may not like this sampler as much (if you like weaker teas it's better to go for their other samplers).

I loved this sampler, it's a great way to try different teas. I like strong bold flavors and love traditional chai. Finding tea that's strong from tea bags it's a lost cause in my opinion so I decided to try their loose leaves. I give 4 stars as there were some teas that were weak or I truly didn't like. But most of them are good and 3 of them became an instant favorite in my opinion. I double the amount of tea leaves used, so instead of 1 I use 2 teaspoons per a bit less than a cup and I make mine with milk. the Double spice, Assam and Turmeric are the strongest and yummiest of them all. Will definitely keep buying this brand and recommend to anyone. I'm no tea expert but since trying a traditional chai from an friend that made it as his Indian family's tradition, this is the closest to that flavor and I'm so happy. It has been years of trying different chai mixes from homemade to store bought, so happy to have finally found one I truly like.

I am hard to please when it comes to chai. I want a flavor that wakes up my senses and lingers on my tongue. This is it! I got the variety pack, thinking I would try them all and pick my favorite. But I have loved them all. They are each slightly different and bring a unique flavor to the forefront, while still resting in the security of a good, solid chai base. The presentation is beautiful - it would make a great gift. And I love the info included about the company - packing the teas fresh from the field and being able to provide good living wages to the workers. They even have set up a program using 1% of their profits for the education of the tea workers. Even if you don't care about a good company with good working conditions and fair wages, you will still love this tea because of its big, authentic flavors. It seriously makes my morning as I prepare myself a cup. I've been using 1 tsp. per cup (as per the instructions) and then doing a second soak of the tea leaves in half as much water as its calls for. The second cup is weaker, but still good. But that first strong cup is amazing. And I admit that I am quite critical when it comes to chai teas, often judging my local coffee shops based on the strength of their chai offerings. You won't regret this. I am already thinking of all my chai-loving friends who might be excited to receive a pack of this tea at their doorstep to bring a little cheer and a big burst of flavor to these tough days of isolation. First of all, I should start by saying that I generally either purchase or grow my own ingredients for tea. So I tend to be a stickler. I decided to take a chance on this tea sampler, and was NOT disappointed. 1. Outside Packaging - Gorgeous. Beautiful dark green bags of heavy weight with resealable lips. The labels are striking - gold trim and lettering with cream background and crisp font that is easy to read. Need a gift? These sampler bags look expensive. 2. Interior Packaging - Mini versions of exactly what you get on the outside. Each bag is resealable and holds a generous amount of loose tea, with a mouth that is wide enough to easily take a full teaspoon scoop to the bottom of the bag, and remove without spilling. 3. Tea - O.M.G. (remember, I usually make my own) Gorgeous colors, heady aromas, large cuts of herbs and spices (not dust and scraps). Somehow they have created a perfect proportional cut/mixture so that you get a full selection when you scoop out a teaspoon. I appreciated the directions - especially for the chai blends - and was able to make perfect cup after perfect cup. Needless to say, I'm impressed with it all - packaging, product, and price. I'll be ordering again. Nicely done Vahdam!!

I originally started with a sampler pack of all types of Vahdam Teas. I've since tried a number of them and been very happy with all. I regularly drink chai tea and was very happy to try a variety. It far and away beats any grocery store brand I've ever had! Also, as far as chai tea goes, it is much more convenient than the by-hand mixture of Assam tea and chai spices I had taken to making in order to get the right flavour. I teetered on which of their chai teas to order a large amount of and settled on the double spiced chai, but any one of them would be great. I do not think the spices are over powering if you brew it for the full time recommended. And while I do think it is a nice treat to brew it with all milk, it is easier to get the right tea to spice flavour ratio with a water/milk mixture. For my preferences, there are a couple I'm not a fan of, but I knew going in that I don't usually care for earl grey or herbal teas much. But the rest of the black/Assam varieties are really amazing! I've since ordered more teas from Vahdam and have yet more in my cart. I like a wide variety from black and chai to white and green. I love that this brand delivers with each kind I try just as good as the last.

These assorted teas made a wonderful gift to a friend whose family comes from India. A taste of home paired with a mug and honey made this a gift she raved about!

I love the selection in this sample pack. Perfect way to try some teas without having to purchase a whole bag of 1. Each small bag has given me at least 4 good size mug fulls of tea. So far i have not found a flavour i dont like. I will update on my faves when i try them all. I also love loose leave as i have more control on how strong or weak my tea is. A suggestion might be to add some empty bags for people to use if they get it as a gift and dont have a steeper. But for me this is perfect!!!

I bought this instead of an advent calendar for my husband who is particular about his tea. He likes chai and black tea exclusively, and isn't into green tea as much. I have to say this brought him more pleasure than any present I have bought him to date. He absolutely loved sampling all the teas and the servings allowed him to make 2 pots of each so he could really enjoy them. The sets were well presented so it felt like a gift, and I would absolutely say this is great value. The black tea selection was amazing too. We have tried other tea sampling sets but this has been by far the best.
