Having read different reviews of these specific pills from Amazon I became very scared they weren’t what they were advertised as. I cracked one open and it tasted meaty and slightly salty so definitely not rice flour, I’m no scientist so couldn’t be sure they’re beef liver. Having said all of that, they made me feel energised and focused after a week of taking them, again, this may be from reading the positive reviews and expecting such results, but I guess in the end does it matter? I’ve bought the once from ancestral health to compare though UPDATE: - just received my ancestral supplement beef liver and they definitely do not smell the same. Don’t know what’s in the codeage ones but it’s not beef liver as far as I can smell!! The photo shows how brown they should be. I’ll feed back in a month once I’ve finished the real deal

I gave this product to my wife who requires iron on a daily basis. To cut a long story short, she is raving about this product. It took about 5daysof use to feel any benefit. Once it is in the system, her energy increased and her iron levels also shoed a positive increase. This is having a far better effect than the Fumate the doctor gave her. It is certainly showing better tolerance and absorbability than Iron. Overall this is a great product that works very well and I am happy to recommend it.

I understand the nutritional benefits from adding organs meets to my nutrition, unfortunately they are not always easy to get or might not always like how they taste. The supplements like this makes it so much easier. I have been taking Beef liver capsules for about three weeks now and have noticed more energy, mental clarity. I have never tried grass fed beef liver supplements before so I was curious how it is going to work for me. I am surprised because I can really feel a difference. The supplements from codeage are high quality and I hhave used this brand before. It's a premium supplement for a premium price which is a little bit too expensive for me so that is the reason why I gave four stars. I wished it would be more affordable. Bact to results - I felt more energised after taking this supplement and did not have days when I woke up already tired. I can honestly recommend it!

Always a good start to any supplement, I like to see that there are minimum additives and bulkers. This can only be achieved through a good manufacturing process and focus on a high-quality product. Like many people, eating large amounts of liver can be difficult, especially as it takes a while to prepare properly. The Codeage beef liver supplement seems to tick all the boxes for a high quality supplement version of all the good bits we need. Grass fed cattle, hormone free no GMOs and no extra additives required. The capsules are easy to take and can even be added to hot soups, stews or cooked vegetables and stirred in before serving. The capsules will dissolve and add a nice flavour to savoury foods. I have found a definite increase in energy (due to the iron content) while taking this supplement and therefore can recommend anyone who feels that their iron levels are low. Bovine supplements also contain a good range of vitamins essential for immune system boost and a healthy defence against illness and disease. Right now, we need all the help we can get to stay fit and healthy. As others have commented, the price is high, but what we should really question, is why other supplements like this are so cheap? Quality is not cheap and I'm happy to go for something I trust, rather something that costs less.

Pound for pound, liver is arguably one of the most nutrient-dense foods available to us. Despite all the evidence that liver is a nutritional superfood, most people don’t eat liver on a regular basis — if they eat it at all. The likely culprit for that is the smell and taste of this organ meat. Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of how it taste as well, so then these capsules comes very handy. Very clean no BS just beef liver.

This is an excellent way of getting all of the goodness of pure beef liver in capsule format. The tub contains 180 capsules and the suggested daily serving size is 3-6 capsules per day. This means that the tub lasts 30 days and the daily serving of 6 (3000mg) costs £1.13. Some people may find it a bit onerous to have to take 6 capsules, but they aren’t too big and are easy to swallow. The packaging is good: the plastic tub is recyclable and was sealed when it arrived. The labelling is clear, with a warning to consult a physician before taking these if you have a heath condition or are pregnant (liver contains a high concentration of vitamin A which can be dangerous to the foetus in pregnancy). I really like that this supplement is high-welfare as the liver is from grass-fed, pasture-raised cows.

I’m a little torn on this as the ingredients seem to be healthy from grass fed cows with no gmo or additive fillers Plus with the added iron etc that you get should be great for health. My other half can’t take them as she’s a vegetarian (more for me) The fact you have to take 6 a day with suitable water is what is a pain. I am taking 3 a day and hoping that gives me some uplift Too soon to see if it’s having an effect yet
