Took delivery of these poles today and I have to say I am VERY impressed. The build quality for the price is fantastic, they come in a zipper case which is also quality. I have looked at them closely, the locking mechanism works perfectly and they are very sturdy. The fact that they also come with pegs and guide ropes is a plus. Amazing value !

Dropping 1 star because of the pegs, never seen or used this style, granted my fault should have set it up before I went away but trying to figure them out with no phone signal was tricky..but the poles themselves are great and sturdy

These poles are replacements for heavy steel poles, that came with a canopy for a caravan. Easy to use with the twist mechanism, set the hight to how you want. Only 4 guy ropes and pegs, so purchased more guys and pegs as extra placement pegging (2 Guys/pole). The supplied bag works well. A good investment and highly recomended.

I am using almost daily they really are easy to use and give the height I need.

Good poles. They worked well but then after a few uses one of the poles started needing a few extra twists before it would "catch" and stay extended. Also knocked a star off because getting everything in and out of the bag is a bit fiddly, maybe a bag with a zip going down the length of it would be easier to use.

Love them! Easy to carry, easy to use. They are very sturdy. They save me in a few camp trips where i didn't have trees around to tight my tarp. I would recommend them to my friends/family, i might buy one more in the future.

These are not for backpackers. Light weight but not that light. Just got back from an elk hunt. These held up to a night of nasty winds and rain. For the most part. Wind was forecast for 35 mph gusts but I know it was closer to 50 with a steady 25-35 mph. It shook the bleep out of my camper even with all 4 corner jacks down to stop the rocking of my truck when I climbed into it. These poles did collapse but they are friction poles. Friction poles only hold so much. If the wind had been no more than 25 mph I think they would have held up fine without collapsing. The tarp I bought on Amazon also was a complete winner as it held up with no tears. I took it down as it pulled up my stakes and tried to fly to BFE. The reflective lines for tying the poles down shine great in a headlamp and are pretty good quality. Not 550 paracord strong but good enough. The plastic tensioners are heavier than most that come with tents and would be the only things I would prefer to upgrade. A nice metal tensioner would make this set perfect for an average camp in a normal rain storm. Oh, and heavier stakes maybe. Anyways, I give this pole set a solid thumbs up from this last weeks use.

Très bon produit, solide et complet pour fixer une toile d'ombrage . Juste pour critiquer un peu : les sardinettes sont un peu trop petites ! Le petit plus : c'est le le sac de rangement.
