Excellent quality. In these days of rampant mail theft and fraud, a standard box just doesn't cut it anymore. Don't bother with the cheap boxes from the discount hardware store that are made of little more than compressed tin foil; I have video of the lady thief who ripped it open with her bare hands. Nice touches to this box include weatherstripping to prevent water from getting in, as well as three laser-cut keys. Laser cut keys were originally a thing on luxury cars, and now they're on this mailbox! So the lock is almost impossible to pick, but don't lose your keys because you can't just take them to a mall kiosk for duplication. Box is made from thick gauge steel to resist prying and cutting. There are two minor criticisms, neither of which warrant deducting any stars. Both of them concern the top door. First, I wish it was internally weighted so that letting go of the handle allows it to close automatically. The way it's currently designed, if your postal person neglects to close it, it just stays open. Not a problem unless it's raining. Second, and this is just paranoia on my part, I wish the handle itself was welded to the sheet metal instead of secured by simple Phillips screws that are easily tampered with. I changed mine to M4-10mm tamper resistant Torx screws. Otherwise, would definitely buy again.

Thief proof as any can be and attractive. Good value, waterproof, easy to install. Good size.

I was looking for a very secure mailbox and came upon this one and another one from a different company. In comparison, this one seems very sturdy and secure, whereas the other one felt a little flimsy. The metal is is thick and strong. The only negative I can think of is the slot where the mail goes in is small, so it might be hard to get larger mail in it, but it was probably designed that way to be more secure.

It's a sturdy product. Some of the pieces described on the instruction booklet were not included in the shipment. There is a plastic rain blocker, however if it's not placed under a roof, the rain can get inside. the box somehow.

Bought this box due to mail theft issues. So far we have been very pleased with it. We did attach it to our home. Our mail carrier stated it was a great lock mail box.

We purchased these (five total) to be used on metal gondolas at our branch libraries. Our facilities department figured out how to attach them securely. They have been working great. The purpose is for money to pay for books on the book sale gondola. We periodically empty them, and the locked unit comes down as a shelf so we don't have money falling on the floor. Another feature that I love is the ability to get additional keys, when necessary, directly from the Mail Boss company. Great product and has worked well for us.

This modern looking mailbox is very heavy duty has an outside plastic lip that prevents the water from coming in from high rains. Metal is thick and rust resistant and is super easy to install. I did it myself.
