It has safety cut out
Did not read the instruction fully. It has an overload safety. WOW, nice. Pity they do not make a 25amp version.which is what I need for my security cameras & monitor. Works great, on close to overload it starts to flicker.

The product works as advertised. I have purchased three of them and they reduce and stabilize the voltage as advertised. It does not generate heat and so far I have zero issues to complain about.I used this on my LifP04 Batteries in my off grid solar system.
