Review: It's brilliant and easy to setup - This is my first ever smart bulb. I have just installed it in the wall light fitting outside by the front door, installed the app and took about 10 mins to get it all working which includes setting up the app, linking to my WiFi and configuring the app so I can schedule the light on/off time. I can also manually switch on and off the light via the app. So far so good. Very happy as I am going away at half term soon.
Review: The product I didnt know i needed! - This is literally the product I didn't know I needed. I have a few of these dotted around the house now: lamps, bedrooms, even in the hallways. We also have the Tapo doorbell and smart plugs, and it's a great ecosystem with flawless compatibility between everything. While I work the night shift, my wife likes to leave the upstairs hall light set at 1% brightness, which is just enough to see everything but not enough to keep you awake. Schedules can be set if you feel like it, but we don't bother with that. Opening the app and turning a light on takes only a couple of seconds, and it's super easy to control everything. I can't comment on the lifespan, but I hope they'll last a very long time as they are on the pricey side. However, you get what you pay for, and this is a quality product.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: does this work with a multi bulb fixture**
A: I brought three of them and set them up in a triple ceiling light, you have to name each light seperately, but then you can put them all in a group and use that groups name to turn them on or off together.  you can still adjust them individually with their independant name or on the app.

**Q: Is there a microphone within the lamp or must you have an Alexa device within earshot?**
A: No but you can use alexa on your phone to turn on or off .or the tapo app is brilliant to set an routine like its comes on at 5% power at 6am and go off at 8am or turn on at 5.20pm at 25% or full on ..honestly it's an great app

**Q: Do these come in a small screw size?**
A: You need a SES (small Edison screw) bulb 
There is a wide choice available on here

**Q: Are these lightbulbs suitable for salt lamps?**
A: There full size bulbs in my salt limp it's a smaller bulb. I use a smart plug on it.

This is my first ever smart bulb.
