Smart Home Game Changer
I was skeptical about spending this much on a single bulb, but the Philips Hue experience completely won me over. Setup took less than 5 minutes through the Hue app, and within the hour I had it connected to Alexa and running on a schedule. The soft warm white light is gorgeous — rich and cozy, nothing harsh or clinical. At 100W equivalent it’s plenty bright for my living room. Being able to dim it by voice or app without a dimmer switch installed is such a convenience I didn’t know I needed. Yes, it’s a premium price, but the reliability and smart home integration are unmatched. Once you go Hue you don’t go back!

Perfect Porch Light
I use this bulb in ZigBee mode to automate a porch light in Home Assistant. It's not rated for outdoor use but nobody has to know. Mine sits on 30% brightness for casual outdoor lighting and 50% for bad weather. I use 100% for doing stuff in the dark. It's astonishingly bright at max brightness, I don't even need a flashlight. Pros: -Everyone on the block turns porch lights on at night. I have mine on a schedule so my light will turn on even if nobody is home. I also have automations for adjusting the brightness when certain doors get manipulated. -Extremely bright at 100% -Cool gimmicks you can incorporate into your home security setup like making the bulb blink/flash. It also has a candle mode that makes the brightness waver. Neutral: -DIY needed to make the bulb do creative things. Bluetooth is limited, you'll probably want a ZigBee system. -High cost per bulb unless you you get the white one with no color temp adjustment. Cons: -The color is literally not white, it's much closer to yellow sunlight. You're supposed to use this bulb indoors??? With this color temperature and brightness range it makes more sense to put these bulbs outside contrary to what the instructions say.

Hue 100W Bulbs: Finally, the Perfect Brightness!
I'm a Hue enthusiast. My house is practically a Hue smart home, and I've been using their bulbs for over a decade. But I've always had one little gripe: the standard 60W bulbs just weren't quite bright enough for some rooms. Well, problem solved! Philips Hue finally came out with 100W bulbs, and they're a game-changer. I ordered a pack from Amazon, and with 2-day shipping, they arrived super quickly. These bulbs are exactly what I've been waiting for. They provide that extra oomph of brightness when you need it, but you still have the full dimming capability that Hue bulbs are known for. So, you can blast them at 100W when you need maximum light, or dim them down for a cozy ambiance. It's the best of both worlds! Now, my living room and kitchen are perfectly lit, and I can still control everything from my phone. Honestly, these 100W bulbs are a fantastic addition to the Hue ecosystem. They've addressed my only real complaint about the system. Would I buy them again? Absolutely! In fact, I'm planning on replacing all my older bulbs with these 100W versions. If you're a Hue user and have been wanting brighter bulbs, these are a must-have. You won't be disappointed!

Pretty good
Works great most of the time, only overshadowed by the few times it doesn't work right, which is annoying. Glad I don't have to download any other third party apps to use it. Hard to tell if it's the light or a system problem.

Bright
The color hue lights are too dim for me. These at 100% are very bright with a lovely yellow/white coloring. Not too yellow, white or blue. Perfect

Great Smart Bulb
It’s Hue so, as always, a very high quality bulb that also happens to be smart. Other smart bulbs often lack the basic high quality of Hue bulbs. There’s no flicker, it dims well, it has excellent lighting characteristics and it is built to last. I don’t use a hue bridge. Instead I connected it to my zigbee network that’s controlled by Home Assistant using a Connect ZBT-1 zigbee usb stick. It paired instantly and now acts a repeater in the same network that all of my zigbee devices use. I believe this is also the way to get around the 50 bulb limit of Hue hubs, if you have a lot of Hue bulbs.

Brighten Up Your Life with Philips Hue High Lumen Smart Bulb!
I recently purchased the Philips Hue White A21 High Lumen Smart Bulb and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This bulb is truly impressive, with a brightness of 1600 lumens that is perfect for lighting up a large bedroom. But what really sets this bulb apart is its smart capabilities. I love that I can control the bulb through my phone and Alexa, allowing me to easily adjust the brightness and turn it on and off. The ability to set schedules and timers has also been incredibly convenient, I have the lamp turn on when my alarm goes off to simulate sunlight and help me wake up. Overall a great purchase for anyone looking to smartify their home with an incredibly easy setup, and all the features you could ask for. Absolutely worth it.

Fixes the single biggest weakness in the Hue system - acceptable color temp.
One of the biggest weaknesses of the Hue system was that the bulbs would get to roughly the brightness of a 60 watt bulb, but no higher. Weirdly, you could get bulbs that turned purple, but you couldn't get the equivalent of a 75 watt or 100 watt incandescent bulb, even though there are many places where you want that much light. This solves that problem. It has maximum output equivalent to a 100 watt incandescent bulb, which you can dim down to whatever level you need. The only downside is that it has no ability to adjust color temperature. Fortunately, the color is a clean soft white, which was likely deliberately selected to annoy as few people as possible. It isn't that harsh cool white that makes everything look like a hospital waiting room. Instead, it is just warm enough not to be offensive to those of us who prefer the traditional, incandescent warm light. Philips apparently still does not grasp that plenty of people want 75 or 100 watt equivalent versions of their smart bulbs, as the advertising for this bulb shows it being put in garages and utility rooms. I bought these thinking they might have terrible light quality that is only suitable for a garage. But these are fine for your living space, and while my lower wattage "white ambience" Hue bulbs do ultimately provide a more pleasing light than these, the difference is subtle enough that you shouldn't avoid these just because you can't tweak the color temp. If you need a brighter bulb somewhere and you are already invested in the Hue system, these are a very welcome addition.

super bright!
this is just what we needed! the room is now nicely bright. We turn down the intensity in the evening. Be aware that there is no variation in colour temperature; you can only dim it, not make it cooler or warmer. I would have preferred having variable colour temperatures but the main goal is achieved.

Recomendada ampliamente

Works as expected
I bought two of these bulbs to replace two new Sengled bulbs that turned out to be worthless. Philips bulbs work every time without failure, as opposed to the Sengled smart lights. Recommended!

Very bright
Definitely has the brightness I was looking for. It could be even better if it was the size of the regular Hue bulb and had the selection of white hues.
